For the past couple years the Mirage has been my main casino. I've stayed at Cosmo the past 2 trips(got mailer offers I couldn't turn down) and in effect played at Aria due to the proximity. I really enjoyed the experience farther south on strip. I play mostly pai gow tiles, baccarat, and blackjack.

While I'm considering Aria I'm wondering if Monte Carlo or NYNY would be a better fit. I usually have a budget of 10k and average bet between 200-250. I'm worried about being too small to get any attention from a host at Aria. I'd prefer to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.

    Any suggestions?

At that level, you won't get too much from Aria (standard room, maybe F&B) depending on your theo. If you can generate high theo, you may even get a croner suite. If you go to MC or NYNY, you will be treated like a king.

That is kind of what I was going for. I'd rather get someone to roll out the red carpet a little bit then be a nobody at Aria.

Anyone have an experience with comps at Monte Carlo? That seems the way I am leaning. I like the proximity to Aria if I wanted to play Baccarat or Pai Gow Tiles. It doesn't seem that Monte Carlo has many baccarat tables.

Am I accurate that Monte Carlo would fall towards the low end of the Mlifes 2nd tier casinos.

I understand the tiers as follows:
    1st: Aria, Bellagio, MGM Grand
2nd:Mandalay Bay, Mirage, Monte Carlo, NYNY
    3rd: Luxor, Excalibur

Monte Carlo and NYNY aren't that nice though, would you even want what they had to offer? Even the best rooms they have are old and outdated, and not many desirable dining options... that's just my thought.

I think I'd rather have something standard at Aria with F&B there.

My play is similar, maybe a bit higher, and I'm much happier as one of the crowd at Aria. I truly wouldn't want to stay or eat at NYNY or MC, but if you want to be treated like a big player that action won't warrant it at Aria.

I would stay at Aria next time, play a little at the other places, and see if you even enjoy the vibe there. It is far different from Aria. The Mirage still feels higher end than those 2 as well.

The exception here would be Hotel32 @ Monte Carlo and arguably the pents at NYNY (IMHO)

    Agree with Heather.
$200-250 will get you a room comp plus some F+B. if you put in the hours at that average.Possible upgrade to a corner suite.

Yea Hotel32 and NYNY Penthouse is nice, but I think I'd still wanna be at Aria... eating at their wonderful restaurants, and gambling in their new casino and sleeping on their plush beds.

I just think even the basic amenities at Aria are so above and beyond the other two.

I assume you meant "crooner" suite, like maybe a Manilow Suite or Sinatra Suite. :haha:

Definitely $250 will get you regular deluxe room comp.

I used to be at that level and that's the most they'll do.
