I am not by any means a huge gambler. We used to get COMP rooms at CET but fell out of favor after a couple non gambling trips. We have migrated to MLIFE, LUXOR in particular. I noticed after our most recent trip that I am just under hitting Pearl. I am getting good offers now $26 a night during the week and $49 on weekends through June. We will be there in June on an offer and I am sure I will hit Pearl.

My question is will that make any difference on my offers? I know MLIFE is tight with room comps, so just wondering if Pearl will maybe get me a free night here or there?

The mLife website is actually messed up for many...myself included.

It just offers discounts for rooms.

If you call in, you probably have some sort of real offer waiting... such as a free room and some sort of resort credit. I would try that instead of relying on the website.

    Good Luck!!!

I was Pearl for awhile, with no idea how I got that level. I mainly got offers from Mirage (which probably limited what I was offered in the first place) but I got the occasional free night offer with reduced rates on weekends. Once, I got a 3 night freebie offer from them.

Thanks shock, just what I was hoping for!! An offer from somewhere north of the Luxor would be nice!

A year or two ago I was just like you, about 1000 poitns from hitting pearl. The best offer I got from them was 3 weekday nights at the Excal. Havn't really given them any play the last year and usually have an offer for 1 free night at either Excal or Luxor.

This should be a big STICKY.

Offers are tied to play/adt/theo. They are not tied to tier.

I am pearl and I played predominantly in NY NY and MGM and I get three free nights from MGM every season and 2 free nights from NY NY every season. It's all about how much play you give each casino. I get 0 offers from Bellagio where I played for an hour.

I'm Pearl, I don't really get anything special. You get the buffet line pass which is cool if you like the buffets. Some of the lines like at Aria are nuts! Also I know this is dumb, but I feel like you look a little more important haha.

My winter deal was discounted rates and $10 freeplay at the high end resorts, or buy one get one free at NYNY, Luxor, Excal or Monte Carlo.
I booked it for MGM a few weeks ago, I paid $56 on a weekend, that was pretty good to me! I also ended up with Mandalay Bay for $39 last year. You really never know what will pop up in your account. I'd obviously like it to be free, but I have been getting some great deals so I'm not complaining.

I've never gotten more than 1 night free anywhere, but my play is sporadic among the properties, and I usually play at non-mlife properties as well.. It's definitely based on your gambling, not the color of your card.

I'm trying to focus more on Mlife this year, see what happens, I just like their properties the best, comps or not.

There should also be a big STICKY with descriptions of the countless offers people have gotten irregardless to their adt/theo.

When I was pearl I got three nights comped and free Lady Gaga tickets, free nights at Mandalay Bay, and free nights at the Mirage.

My adt/theo did not justify those offers (and it still doesn't justify the offers I still get).

Were they teaser offers? Who knows? They were offers, and I took them.

    Theo/adt is not everything.

You will certainly get better offers with Pearl than Sapphire.

I'm Pearl with Mlife with most of my gambling at MGM with a little at Bellagio. I normally get 1 or 2 nights Sun-Thurs at MGM but in January got an offer for three nights which I booked for later this month. We do most of our gambling at CET (PHO,Bally's,Paris) so I was really surprised at this offer. I think I made Pearl by paying for my room on two business trips in 2012.

Hi there Ron. We've been Pearl for the last few years but actually since hitting Pearl consistently each trip, our offers have actually dwindled. We used to get more than 1 night comp at properties like Aria, MGM, NYNY but now we get one at Mirage pretty consistently and discounted rates everywhere else. FP has disappeared.

I'm a little bitter with MLife right now (can you tell) since we have been loyal to them since they were MGM Players Club and most of our play stays with them. I used my MyVegas LPs this time for 3 comp nights because I was tired of waiting for MLife to toss us a freaking bone.

The line pass is awesome tho - you can use it anywhere. It was nice walking past a long line at California Pizza Kitchen @ Mirage last time and sitting right down!

Wow that sucks. About what happened to me with Total Rewards. I made the dreaded mistake of sticking my card in a VP at PH and running a hundo through. It killed me even though we werent staying with them on that trip. Dried up all my COMP days!

I am pearl now, was gold, seems like I am getting less offers now. I hope it just an online issue. Still get offers every now and then for MGM NYNY, Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. Usually 2 nights comped sun-thurs pretty good rates for the weekend and a $50 freeplay. Bellagio is tight with offers so is Mirage but I haven't been to the Mirage since 2001. Need to get up to Gold again...hopefully get it done with my March Madness trip. I also got free tickets to Sade and a comped night stay at NYNY couple of years back which was amazing. I am pretty pleased with Mlife...I haven't never really gambled too much at the CET casinos. I do like to gamble at the Wynn/Encore. Hope they offer me some comped nights...but I doubt it.

Never made it past pearl but only got good offers from NYNY. I took them up on 3 free nights once, gambled just a bit, and continue to get similar offers to your Luxor offer strictly from NYNY. None of the other same tier resorts have given anything similar. I guess at this point loyalty is more important than tier.

I've been Pearl for several years but last year made it to gold based on an above average gambling trip (primarily play at MC, NYNY, and some at MGM). My offers are basically the same except I got 4 comp nights from MC over New Year's and 4 comp nights for the Super Bowl. Those were both new offers to me...but my basic 3 comp nights + $75/$100 FB has been the same for several years now.

Sorry, but this sticky could be a thousand post long, and still not mean much. Way too many variables.

Exactly. It's so random. I mean yes, to get consistently good offers, obviously you gotta spend a ton.

At least with Mlife, you get offers, even if it's just discounts. CET doesn't really send anything, and they don't comp me anything either. I'm at least grateful for the 25% off or buy one get one free. Not to mention their properties are WAY nicer.

Pretty much my thoughts!! Its so random, so we booked an offer from Luxor for $26 a night plus the dreaded resort fee that is now $22.50 and today I get an email from T.I. I got a players card from them over a year ago and spent about an hour or so on VP, that was it. T.I. offered me a room during the same time for $40 with optional resort fee. We are going to give them a try for half the trip! random indeed!!

I reached Pearl status for the first time late last year. Like NYPoker I predominately play and stay at MGM and NYNY and routinely get offers for 2-3 free nights w/FP from those 2 properties (the offer I'm using in 3 weeks for MGM included weekends).

Strange thing is that I've also stayed/played at Luxor and I only get discounted rates from them. Nothing free. Excalibur too. Strange.

I am currently gold for the last couple of years but won't make enough points this year to keep it. Probably drop down to Pearl. My offers have fallen off the last year. Used to get 2-3 nights comp + free play (weekends included) at Aria and lesser properties. Stayed the last few times at MB. My direct offers (email) from MB are better than any of the mlife offers. Aria is now 2 nights $79 sun-thurs w/ no free play and $50 resort credit.
Just booked a direct offer with MB at The Hotel, Fri and Sat in April with $100 resort credit, no freeplay, discount tickets, bla bla. Just happy with 2 nights at The Hotel, and the resort credit. Not chasing gold and if the free rooms stop at Pearl, I get plenty of other offers from M, Silverton, South Point, Etc..
I always have a car, so don't mind staying anywhere.
Oh well, we'll see what happens! Thanks to all for sharing your offers/experience! Good Luck !
