    My Trip Report

I've been a long time lurker of this board and I am heading to Vegas for the third time so I made an account to write a trip report of my last Vegas trip. First, some background. I'm a 23 year old college graduate from Long Island. I went with my long time girlfriend, (C), who did not want to come at all and a last minute decision from one of my best friends, (A), to come with after an offer from me to him that he could stay in our room for free. We met up with some other people, my dad, my uncle, and my dad's crazy friend who arrived a few days before us, my crazy cousin who did amphetamines the whole time, his friend, and a friend of mine who lives in LV. This trip report is a little hazy because it's been over a year since this happened, but I do remember quite a lot. I'm a pretty low level gambler so nothing too crazy gambling wise is enclosed if that's what you're looking to read, sorry  .

1/14/13 - Flight and Check In

So, we started this trip at 6 am driving to JFK for our flight. Flight was on time, no upgrade our anything, flew Virgin and just played civilization on my laptop. Entire time C is saying that I better not gamble the whole and I better hang out with her, etc. etc. She was never to vegas and had never gambled in her life before this trip. I had booked the trip 11 months in advance so she was kind of sick of hearing about it because I am an over planner. We land at McCarran and the room we booked comes with a limo to and from the airport. We get down the escalator and an older gentleman with an iPad with NYPoker on it is waiting for me. We walk right in front of him and it takes him a few second to realize that it's me and C who the limo is for. I say, that's me and he is all estatic. He's a southern man from New Orleans, he moved out to Vegas a few years ago and he plays in a band and does the limo thing, pretty sure he's semi retired. Anyway, I've never had a limo before so I didn't know he was going to come to the carousel and grab our bags. I like to think of myself as down to earth and I refused to let him take my 50 lb bag AND what had to be C's 125lb bag so I told him, "take mine I got hers", no real struggle about it and off we went. Vdara's limo is kind of old, I don't know how many they have but it was ok especially since it was "free". Water was inside and the chat with the driver was actually really nice. At this point, I really felt like this was going to be a great trip.

We arrive at the Vdara and my dad (D) his very mafia like friend (T), and my uncle (U) are waiting for us to arrive hanging out on the swing chair at the Vdara Bar. D is always extremely personable and can honestly talk to anyone about anything. I don't know if that's how he has always been, but as long as I have been alive it has been that way. It's a definite benefit for someone to have and something I try to work on. Anyway, I tip the limo driver $30 (I don't know if that was too little, too much, or the right amount) but he was happy with it and I hoped we would get him again (we didn't). D is already best friends with the bellhop who grabs our bags and brings me and C, with D's entourage following behind, to the invited guest check in. Check in is a breeze and the bellhop brings us to the elevator and hits the top floor button. Elevator is crazy fast, ears pop, pretty incredible. The room is all the way at the left end when you walk out of the elevators. It's a corner two story penthouse suite, and I've been waiting for 11 months to see it. We walk in and every one is saying they are staying with us :evillaugh . I have a video but C will not let me post it because she is a teacher :rolleyes2: and she doesn't want herself anywhere online so I will post pictures when I get the time. Anyway, the room is pretty incredible and I had told my dad to book the same room with the "offer" (I'll explain later) that the room had. However, he didn't saying he wasn't going to Vegas let alone thinking about it a year out, which is a joke statement in and of itself. Bellhop puts the bags in the second story bedroom and my dad won't let me tip him and he does it himself (bad move). Ends up he realizes about 20 minutes later that what he thought was a $20 was actually $100 and he is now all pouty that he tipped $100 to the bellhop. I told him it's good karma and that he'll win it back anyway. I get all the extra people out of the room and do what any two college aged kids who just landed in Vegas and have a penthouse to themselves would do.... take a nap for 2 hours at 1pm :faint: .

Now, you're probably saying, how could a self professed low roller, college aged kid, who brought $2,000.00 for the entire trip be affording this room. Well, I somehow found a fat finger mistake on the Mlife website (back when it was way worse than it is now) and I booked the room for $50 a night. I confirmed with Mlife that it was supposed to be $500.00 but since it was a mistake on their end and only a couple of people booked it, they were gonna honor it (was up before I arrived).

After sleeping I find I have a million texts from D and T to meet them at Sensi for dinner. So me and C get all dressed up, because I brought some pretty fancy clothes and I NEVER wear anything fancy, so I was gonna look good this trip. It takes C about 2 hours to get ready.. for anything honestly and so we were ready by 5:30ish, reservation was at 6. C and I meet the crazies at Sensi and they just order everything they can possibly think of wanting. It's T's birthday and he has money to throw around so he's doing a pretty good job. C and I order some sushi, eat and have to excuse ourselves early because we have tickets to LOVE compliments of MyVegas. T is very inebriated and throws $100 at me and says take her in a limo.... I say ok and when we are out of earshot I ask her what she wants to do. She says keep it and we'll use it for something fun (I'm going to marry this girl). We make the walk to Mirage and on the way I point out all the different casinos and what there is to do and theme in each one.

We get to the Mirage and I really want to play craps before the show but C isn't having it. She gives me the "face" :nono: . So I've now been in vegas for 7 hours and haven't played anything. We get some crazy alcoholic drinks at the concession for like a billion dollars and head in. We have seats 3 rows back and they were incredible. Love is definitely the best show I've ever seen. C was also super impressed. I don't really like the beatles but the show actually made me like the music more. I probably wouldn't have ever seen this show if the tickets weren't free from the facebook game.

After the show I look at my phone and there are 6 missed calls from D and U. There is a pretty drunk message saying that we have to come to the Bellagio now. We trek back to the Bellagio and after walking through the shops part and making a right, there they are. My dad has a sick obsession with WOF slots. He doesn't know how to play table games so he kinda just plays $5 WOF all trip. He's been pretty lucky, whereas I have yet to win on one. Last year he won $6,000.00 give or take so it was a fun trip for him. So we stand behind them and there are about 6 empty rum and cokes on the ledge holding the machine so it seems they've been there a while. U turns to me and is like "T's money!". Confused, I ask what that means and it turns out that T wanted to go do his own thing so in his drunken state handed them $2,000.00 to let him do his thing. So they were playing his money, switching their cards back and forth to get the credit. The nice thing was, everytime they hit the wheel they would cash out. Everytime they cashed out if they had a weird number like $1,292 they would hand me and C the $92. This happened about 6 times. So we ended up being up $300 without even gambling. They of course refused to cash out because they are degenerates and even though they were up $2,000.00 at one point, they just drained it all while saying we're only stopping if we hit the jackpot. Bye bye T's money  .

During this C was really tired, so I took her to bed. I wanted to keep watching (and making money) so I told her I would be back in an hour or two. Boy was I wrong. It's about 1:30 at this point when I meet them at the WOF slot. Within 15 minutes of standing there I see T. He is pretty drunk but seems to have sobered a little since last time I saw him. He wants to play blackjack, bad. D and U say they are going to bed but tell me to hang out with him for a little while. I oblige because I find T really fun. He is a larger than life kind of guy and I used to work for my dad and that would lead to me seeing T a lot (my dad buys and sells cars and I used to go to the car auctions with him while I was still in college, and T was always there). He is really hilarious and I always have a good time when we go out. :drunk:

I follow T to a blackjack table and we sit down. Now, I play $5 blackjack because I'm a poor college sutdent so I cannot afford the $25 minimum he is at. I don't buy in and after the first hand he turns and says "guy, let's go." I explain to him that I don't have a bankroll big enough for this and he ends up handing me 3 blacks. I look at the dealer, she makes the blacks greens and off I go. We get through about 30 hands and T is up a couple thousand and I'm about even. He's playing 2 hands at $200 each and I'm playing my $25 hand. Then something crazy happens. A guy a few years older than me sits down and it's pretty apparent he has no idea what he's doing. I'm no expert but I could tell he was making some pretty major playing mistakes. One hand puts T over the edge, Dealer has 16 T has split his 9's and gets a 17 and 19, I stay on a 17, new guy is staring at his cards, he has a 14. T tells him if he hits he'll kill him. Kid asks me what to do, I tell him you do what you have to do. He hits, busts 24 and the dealer gets a 4 for a 20.. everyone loses :grrr:. T throws a hissy fit and storms off. I apologize to everyone at the table because I'm pretty embarrassed and I follow him. I think he ended up being down a couple hundred when he left.

Heated T says we have to find another table but an empty one. I say ok and we find the first table when you pass the petrossian bar that is on the left. It's a $25 table, same deal as the last table, he wants to play 2 hands I play my one. Before we start he slides me over another $300 because I was down to $125. Pit boss is called over I am assuming because of my age (I still look young) and asks for my players card and ID. I hand it over and he gets on his phone. After a few minutes he hands it back to me and we start. It is 3 am and I have now been up for 22 hours. After 45 minutes I am up about $600 and the pit boss comes back over. I need your ID and players card... I was like um ok. Hand it to him, another phone call. A few minutes later he hands back just the id and then asks for T's players card. I was pretty nervous because I didn't understand what was going on.. so I ask why. He says you two ought to get rated for the amount you are playing, and asks if we plan to continue playing to which we say yes. Well after a long fought 2 and a half more hours. I am now up $1300 plus the $425 that T had given me when we started. I want to be done, bad. This could pay for my whole trip. I slide T $600. $175 for the loss at the other table and $425 for the chips I started with at this table. He freaks out and says no way because he wants to keep playing and he fronted the money so I have to keep playing. To make a long story a tiny bit shorter, I ended up putting one black in my pockets and then proceeded to lose the $1625 that was on the table... Oh well, wasn't really my money anyway. $100 is even a big deal to me so I was happy and I ended up getting rated at $35 a hand for 5 hours and drank my first ever Johnny Walker Blue.. 5 times! T lost about $6k

After this some other stuff happened, talking down T from going to his safe and taking out another $10k, teaching him to play craps at a $100 minimum craps table, and having a talk about women and life. All deep stuff. I roll into bed at 7:30 am to a confused girlfriend. I try to explain what happened but told her wake me up in 2 hours and I'll explain. :peace:

Well that is what I remember from Day One. I will write more when I get home, I'm writing this at lunch at work. I will put in pictures and hopefully learn how to keep the content down. I used to always have an issue of overwriting on papers and it seems to continue. Hope you are enjoying this recap.

So here are a couple pictures of the room and me sitting in the window eating some of the complimentary fruit that was brought up after we checked in. There's a ton more and if anyone is getting this room and wants to see the rest of the pictures, you can pm me for them.

    Day Two

    1/15/13

Ok, so things are definitely going to be missed for the days after because after day one, I really never stopped drinking so this is my best effort.

So when we woke up in the morning I saw a text from my friend A. He was coming in around 12 and he was taking a cab to Vdara. I texted him back that when he landed to let me know and we would meet him downstairs. A is a pretty intense cigarette smoker and I didn't tell him that Vdara was no smoking. It actually wasn't a big deal because he was a first timer to vegas and had no idea you could smoke inside anyway because you can't smoke inside anywhere in NY.

I explained to C what happened the night before and she thought it was hilarious. She has known T now for a while and she doesn't approve of his antics but nonetheless enjoyed my story. However, she thinks it was stupid that I didn't walk away from the table :rolleyes2:. We decide to grab a light snack from downstairs in the little store thing and then walk around. We walked through Bellagio and I showed her the sports book, rest of the slots floor, etc.

D, T, and U were leaving at 11. It was 10 now, and I got a text from D that they were in the Bellagio Cafe and to stop in. We found D and U at a table with another guy who came on vacation with them but I didn't really see at all so he doesn't get a mention. I think he played roulette all weekend so they didn't see him either. We all were laughing over the night previous and D told me that T still hasn't woken up. I send a text T to come downstairs to go get some charges taken off for his play that weekend. He says he'll be downstairs soon. I go with D and C stays with U and has some food. D always tries to get his charges taken off because he exclusively plays at Bellagio. I don't know what his coin in was or is normally but he goes once a year and this time he left with a Gold card. I told him he wouldn't have it without drunken T but he just brushes it off. They end up taking off the $900 he charged to the room and he's happy.

As we are finishing up, T shows up. He honestly looks like that scene from the Sopranos where Tony has food poisoning and is sick in bed and has all those crazy dreams :vomit:. D and U want to leave so they say goodbye to us and head out to grab a cab. Me U and C walk over to the Mlife desk and he asks to have the charges comped. The girl takes his card looks for a while and says "Sorry sir, you're play doesn't warrant any comps." I expect T to freak out but he must be so hung over he just says ok and walks away. Disaster avoided :eek:. T says goodbye to us and then jumps in a cab. I was convinced he was going to be late to the plane, but I heard later that he tipped someone at security $100 and was escorted to the front of the line, right past D and U.

Right as they left I got a text from A that he is there. C and I walk back to Vdara and sit outside and wait. I love January in Vegas, my birthday is in January and I went for my 21st. We couldn't make it for my birthday this time but I still wanted to go the same month. The cold air is really refreshing and I like being able to wear jeans. I don't really do pools so no big deal to me. Me and C just people watched people walk into Aria. If you want something free to do, people watching is the best free thing in Vegas  .

A finally arrived and he was pretty excited. We brought him upstairs and all he kept saying was "dude, no way" about 10 times. I gave him the downstairs bedroom and he was psyched. I told him to hurry up and get ready because I want to go collect MyVegas stuff around town. He just threw everything in the closet and off we went.

I had redeemed 9 MyVegas comps on my account and I believe 6 on my girlfriends. This was before they changed the rules to 3 max. I may or may not have been a contributing factor in their decision :ssst:. First stop, Bellagio because it was right next door. I picked up 2 lunch buffets, a pack of cards, and 2 High Tea Experiences.

Since we had the lunch buffets I said let's go eat lunch at the buffet. No line on monday at 12:30. Got in, sat down, and went to work. As were sitting there completely gorging on food, C and A are just like wow. They haven't done this before and I bet I was the same way when I went with D the year before. The food was excellent and they just couldn't believe how much stuff there was.

After about an hour of going crazy on food, we went to Aria. There, I redeemed 2 glasses of Absinthe at Sage and a deck of cards. Then it was onto Monte Carlo where I had a $50 dining credit which was used at Diablo Cantina and a $75 or $100, cant remember, at the steakhouse in Monte Carlo.

So.... as you can see, I still haven't gambled at all with my own money and I'm getting super antsy. We arrived at NY NY and I go to pick up a $75 food and beverage credit. While I'm redeeming, A found a slot machine and chucked $1 in it. A told me he doesn't gamble, has no desire to, it's not for him. You're all probably wondering why I would want to go to Vegas with these people... it's because I know the power of Vegas and they would change! Sure enough, A wins $20 on his first spin, it was like a $0.40 spin too so he is now all hyped up. C sits next to him and now they are both playing! It was a Bean To Be Wild machine. I think it's a new machine or at least was then. It is really really fun. I don't even like slots and I ended up playing a lot of this thing. It's got a fun boingy beans bonus round and the beans like fly all over the screen. I've only seen it at NY NY but if anyone has seen it somewhere else please let me know! For the rest of the trip we would now practically live in NY NY.

After A and C win about $4 after 20 minutes we leave and head to MGM, grab more comps, two $50 vouchers to Delights and some dice. It's about 4:00 now and C and A want to play more Beans. So we head back to NY NY and we all chuck in $10 each. We take turns hitting the button at $0.40 a spin with occasional max bet when no is looking. I like to play max but they like to play minimum so they get more spins. We end up going up and down for about an hour on that $30. It finally taps out and we leave, not a bad way to spend $10.

On the way back, A gets a text from Don. Don lives in Vegas and he went to school with us. I told him we were gonna be there and he was actually pretty excited we were coming. He never goes to the strip and told us that the strip is the greatest idiot tax in Vegas and he welcomes our contribution to his town. I told him to screw himself and that I am gonna take Vegas for a ride :evillaugh . He wants to meet us tonight and hang out. His sister will drop him off around 8:30. We say cool and that we will meet him at my favorite place... Casino Royale.

We quickly drop off the comp slips at the room, grab some waters and put on a coat. It gets really cold at night in January. Off to Casino Royale. Now C and A have been to pretty high end casinos all day and haven't seen a casino like Casino Royale. I have this love for the place. I learned craps there and won my first good amount of cash here, $200. The dealers are pretty helpful except I kept getting in trouble because I kept throwing the dice out of the craps table :eek:. It was my first time, what can I say?

So we get there and C is really questioning my decision. I sign them up for players cards and send them over to the promo slots to play there $50 promo money. They are done in 10 minutes and meet me for some blackjack. C won't play but A buys in for $30. It's a $5 table but the rules here are really really weird. They deal the cards down and you like scratch the card againt the other card to hit..... Let's just say I was pretty innebriated from drinking during slots and then buying a couple michelobs at the bar in Casino Royale. I said whatever I wanna play, who cares how strange the rules are. We sat down next to a couple from Arkansas. They seemed ok at first. However as we kept playing I started getting the feeling they were kind of racist from the jokes they were saying, about the president, illegal aliens, and just a bunch of stuff. I mean I usually just ignore stuff like that, it's a free country and people can believe what they want but it just made a really weird atmosphere, drunk or not. The game was weird, the people were bugging me, and I just wasn't feeling it. I colored up, down $20 from my starting $100. A was ready since he only had $5 left.

We got outside and I called Don, it was now 9 and I was ready to go to the Wynn/Encore to pick up my winning bet on the Patriots that I had D put for me when he got there. Don said he was running late but would text us when he got there. Well, that wasn't stopping us. We walked around and then went into Walgreen or CVS, I can't remember what it was. Me and A kept jumping on the Doctor Scholls orthopedic chooser machine and I kept yelling at it that I hit the jackpot and to pay me in quarters only! Yeah, I was pretty wasted but I like to think I was funny. :Þ.

Don arrives! He meets us on the bridge over near the Wynn and we head into the Encore? I don't really remember it is pretty much a blur after this because I think all the alcohol I downed in Casino Royale kicked in. All I know is that I got my money from Encore, didn't picked up my Wynn Card from the players card, and ended up waking up with 3 bottles of pink champagne a bottle of jack daniels, a 6 pack of red bull and orange juice in the fridge. C says that I drank way too much but I was a blast. She says open the drawer next to you. I'm expecting that I put some crazy bets down and there's money stuffed in the drawer!. In the drawer... about 1,000 stripper cards. Supposably I just started taking stacks of the cards from the porn slappers and told them if the girls didn't look like the cards I'm reporting them to the BBB. Sounded like a normal night to me. Oh, and we ate some pizza at secret pizza... I don't know how we got there. I heard it was delicious...

Well hope you're enjoying so far. I put some more pictures in that are pertinent to this post. I'll keep writing as I find the time and keep trying to piece together the days!

There's a picture of A (left) me (right), a picture of the patriot win, a picture of Beans!, A being addicted to Beans, and a picture of Wynn... I think.

I love this line! She's a keeper considering finances is one of the biggest reasons for divorce.

What a great deal at Vdara from a fat finger mistake. I booked fat finger mistake a couple years ago at a Residence Inn in Manhattan, but Marriott cancelled my reservation and refused to honor it. Great report, looking forward to your next installment, maybe you could edit out the camera shy from your video?

It's actually pretty hard and I am probably forgetting some stuff. I know we went to Pink's one day for hot dogs but I can't remember which day it was... They are really good but C and I thought they were overpriced. I might just put things that I end up remembering but not the days on small posts like this with pictures.

Nice! I've never been in another suite before so it was pretty awesome for me. I can't compare it to the other ones but when my cousin arrived he thought it was awesome and he's stayed in a couple suites before.

Never played single/double deck before? That's the standard rules...

I'm pretty sure that the year before I did play a single deck at Bellagio, but they definitely didn't deal it out like that. I might be mistaken of the deck count but that's definitely the first time I've ever seen that.
Was super confused. Then again I've only been able to gamble for 3 years sooo I'm still in learning :ssst:

    Day Three

    Day 3 1-16-13

Ok, so woke up the morning after that train wreck drunken disaster of mine. Pretty sure I felt terrible. Walked downstairs to find all the alcohol we bought at the cvs/walgreens.... somewhere. There are porn cards everywhere, MyVegas comp slips everywhere and $1 poker chips all over the windowsill. Don ended up sleeping on the pullout and A was passed out still. Don had somehow gotten a change of clothes so he was gonna hang out with us today. Me and C got showered and dressed. (on a side note, the shower had a showerhead on each side so two people could take a shower at once with different temps... pretty convenient). We woke up A and told him to get ready and meet us at Monte Carlo before we go over to MGM. I had two $50 delights comps so we were gonna use them for breakfast.

C, Don, and I walked through Aria first and I got to take a look at the poker room. I read really good things about the room on this board so I knew I wanted to play in the game. We had tickets that night to Terry Fator via MyVegas so it wasn't gonna be this night. I also really wanted to play a Deal or No Deal slot machine but couldn't find one . I am pretty luck at the Deal or No Deal game at Dave and Busters so I thought that luck would continue. Unfortunately it was a no go so far.....

We get to Monte Carlo and walk around. I didn't get to see a lot of the casinos the first time I was in Vegas because I went for one night for my birthday. I really like the Steakhouse in MC but I don't know what it is, there is a smell that I can't put my finger on in the casino portion that just puzzles me. It's not gonna stop me from playing poker there in April but I don't know it's just different :confused2:.

A finally shows up at MC and off we go to MGM. As we are walking to Delights I finally see it! A Deal or No Deal Slot! I have a combined voucher of my C and A's money for like $5 and change. I say we gotta play it. We put the voucher in and everyone is like "let's play the minimum". I hate the minimum.. it makes me think when I get a bonus round or something of how much more money I could have won if we didn't play the minimum :grrr:. Anyway we play the minimum for like 6 spins and win a little money back. Then they start arguing about cashing out the whole $2 profit we just made :faint:. While they are fighting I get my one and only max spin in. I think it was for $2.20. Low and behold.. CASE PICK BONUS ROUND AWESOMENESS. Everyone's pumped but then they are even more pumped when I told them I hit max bet. I tell C and A that I get to pick because I pushed the button and we are picking 3 because my grandmother's lucky number was 3 and my mom's is 3 and its my quick draw numbers 3, 13, 23, 33. So 3 it is. We all take turns picking one case, even Don. We get through the first 6 cases or whatever it was and we have like 4 out of 5 of the top numbers left and all the middle ones. The offer comes in for 27,000 credits. We aren't the most savvy slots players... or good at math obviously because we are mulling it over and we all think it's only $27.00 so we are like no deal. However, A goes to hit the no deal button but hits the deal button! :grrr: . We are freaking out but say whatever it's free money off of $5. We are gonna cash it out and head to our free breakfast. However.... the thing just keeps going and going and going. Then we realize that it isn't $27.00 it's $270.00! Panicked delight ensues and A is just like holding my arms and going "are you kidding me?!" to which I yell "are you kidding me?!" back because we might have won a ton more! :bang:

So finally the craziness subsides and people are still staring at us. We head to delights which is pretty confusing because MGM is really confusing. I have no idea how we are gonna to survive there in April. We finally get there and realize that $100 actually gets you pretty far in delights. So we ended up ordering some bagels and an omelette and a bunch of angry orchards at 10 am.. Vegas .

After breakfast Don leaves, he has to go hang out with his dog.... guy needs a girlfriend. C, A, and I go to NY NY where me and A play some blackjack while C just kinda watches/grabs a drink/goes to beans. We had a really friendly dealer. A nice middle aged asian woman. She was super funny and I told her that A never gambles and this was his second time playing blacjack. Well, every time A was making a questionable decision (I'm talking like trying to hit on a 19 against a shown 8) she would ask him are you sure with a face of like are you completely stupid. Of course than he would cave and be like um no and than she would wait for him to wave his hand over the cards and that would take forever because he kept forgetting the different hand motions, betting motions, etc. Thank god no one was playing with us. Funny stuff though.

Well after getting some amusement from A and our dealer, I ended up getting up to $80 from my $50 ($5 table) and A was tapped on his $50. I decided to put the $30 on one hand and of course lost it but I wanted to at least double my money or go even so I walked away even. Got an hour of enjoyment out of the game. Then we headed to find beans. We played beans for 2 hours and combined lost about $150. We got bonuses but nothing huge.

C and I wanted to use our MyVegas High Tea comps at Bellagio this day. A decided he would do it too. We left NY NY and went up to the room where we got dressed up a little bit and grabbed the slips. I had called ahead before we went to breakfast and they had plenty of room. We arrived around 1:45 and sat down. If anyone has ever debated doing this you should definitely do it. We loved it and are gonna do it again this April. I've got a lot of pictures of it and have posted them below. You get a choice of tea or jasmine tea for an extra $2. Then they bring out assorted sandwiches, scones, jams, etc. You get to pick which sandwiches you want. Also, you can get champagne which we opted for because why the hell not? I think the champagne was $10 each, it's only one glass. A payed full price for it so I think by the time he got everything it was around $47. It was a really fancy thing and it was right off the casino floor so you could people watch. Everything was really delicious and the service was top notch. I don't think I could afford to drink in petrossian but I will definitely come in for high tea on each trip now. It was a good way to relax and talk.

After high tea C went back to the room and A and I went to the Bellagio floor to play some $1 WOF. We found one when you walk in from where Petrossian is on the left. We put $50 in each and took it slow. A is still amazed he can smoke inside so he wants to enjoy every second of it. I brought some Macanudo Robustos with me so I had a couple while we played. Played for about an hour, got some drinks, hit the bonus round a couple times, however didn't win. I wanted to win! When we were out of money I threw another $50 in that thing :wink2:. A didn't want to lose anymore because he has now lost all the money he won as part of the split of the win on Deal or No Deal. I spin and hit absolutely nothing, another $50 gone. I know my play will never get me anything at Bellagio so I decide it's not worth it to keep putting money in here and to save it for NYNY.

We head back to the room where I take a nap for an hour. When I wake up it's around 4:30. C and I have tickets to Terry Fator tonight and my cousin (W) is flying in from AZ at around 8. A has never met my cousin but I told A I gave W his number and he'll call him when he lands to figure out what were doing. I take a shower, C is ready, time to go.

We take the walk to Mirage and decide to walk through Caesar's on the way. We get harassed by a kid about our age about a small club in Caesar's and he'll put us on his list and give us a private table yada yada. I say sure whatever, give him my # and he says cool see you tonight. I had no idea what our plans were for the night but I am really not a big club/party person. I'm a little more relaxed, I would rather do a lounge like Gold in Aria. C tells me I'm boring :confused2:. While walking through I decide to grab a TR card. While doing this A sits on a WOF where you spin the wheel with a touch screen. He puts $60 in and spins away. He is sitting next to an older gentleman about 70. Really nice guy, talking to us about how gambling is addicting and we should know that the casinos are evil but fun and we should always have fun. Well this guy ends up hitting a handpay while we are sitting there! I've never seen one in person. I've heard stories from D before and on this board but never in person. The guy won $4000 or so. A wins nothing and actually put in another $20 to chase. So now he's down and very unhappy. We said congratulations to the man who is still waiting to be paid and we head on our way.

We walk through the Forum Shops and of course C wants to buy a purse and needs to go into Tiffany. I tell her to wait and we can go but not right now or we're gonna be late to the show. She agrees and we continue.

We get to Mirage and we stop at Rhumbar for a quick drink. I have 2 free drinks here. I get a 1944 mai tai, C gets a frozen something (she didn't like it at all) and A gets a Tatonga. A and I really enjoyed our drinks. C said hers had no real flavor. I found out there is a hookah bar at Rhumbar! I'm a big hookah fanatic. I have owned a variety of Khalil Mamoon hookahs and even tried to start a hookah delivery company right after graduating college. However I realized that NY's tobacco laws are way too insane and trying to start a delivery hookah business is near impossible with the regulations in NY regarding tobacco sale :grrr:. Anyway, I am making it my mission to do this in April because we never got a chance to on this trip. Very disappointing!

We say goodbye to A and remind him to check his phone. C and I head to Terry Fator. The show was good but a much older crowd. I am convinced we were the youngest people there by 20 years. While the show was good I don't think I would pay to see it and I won't be seeing it again. We had the 4th row back on the right of the theater.

After we got out I find out that W has arrived. A has already brought him up to the room and they are waiting for us. We book it back to Vdara and no one's there. They went out to Walgreens/CVS again to grab more liquor. They come back with some more jack daniels, more champagne, more food. W has also called his friend A2 who shares the same name as A and would result in multiple confusion the rest of the trip. A2 has just moved to Vegas from AZ and he likes the strip, nice . We pregame and get a little weird and then head out for more gambling.

We did a little gambling and I had a crazy run at MGM where I won $120 over a variety of machines using tiny TITO $. I really enjoyed gambling there because it's the only place I won, however they did annoy me on one morning which I'll get to on the last day of the trip. We then continued partying down the strip. It gets kinda blurry but that kid who wanted us to come to Caesar's for the club texted me about a million times and I just wasn't feeling it so I turned my phone off. I was too drunk to deal with that.

We ended up going to Sage for drinks. I had those two free absinthes from My Vegas. One word, delicious. I have never had absinthe before and neither had anyone else who was with us except W. We all ended up ordering one except W who had a double maker's mark. The way that it is presented is great. We should have video'd/took a picture. They pour the absinthe over a sugar cube into the glass then light the cube on fire. Than they drip ice water over the cube until it dissolves and then stir. Good stuff. We are gonna pay for it this time around because C and I really enjoyed the buzz you got from it. It's relaxing actually. Somehow Don showed up and became best friends with the waiter as they talked about economic problems and frustrations in LV. He ended up taking off like 25% of the bill and we left him a 30% tip for being an awesome waiter. Unfortunately can't remember the name.

So now the gang's all together. A2 passes out on the floor which will turn out to be a common theme here. W and A become best friends and A gives W the bed and sleeps on the couch. C is loving Vegas and tells me that night that this is her new favorite vacation and she is so happy we went. Don is nowhere to be found... probably went home to hang out with his dog. It's a good trip so far and we're constantly drunk/buzzed and not losing all of our money. Well at least not C and I, A is continuing to lose and is now down $250.

I will put some pictures on the bottom and will try to rack my brain for the next day. C is now helping me remember after I showed her that I'm writing this. So hopefully some more details start coming to light. Thanks for continuing to read! In April we've decided to take way more pictures as well:thumbsup:!
