What are the shortest walking routes between neighboring casinos?

I want to casino hop and place one or two large bets at each casino I visit. What are some of the shortcuts between casinos that are next to each other?

For example between Aria and Monte Carlo there is an indoor walkway, also between Paris and Ballys. I think there is one between Mandalay Bay and Luxor but I am not positive.

    Thank you.

Here are the ones I know of that you haven't already mentioned:

You can walk indoors between MB and Luxor - and from Luxor to Excalibur. There is a tram from MB to Excalibur as well.

While it isn't completely inside - you can go from Aria to Bellagio quite easily by going out the North Valet entrance of Aria, and going into the Vdara, and then follow the walkway to Bellagio.

I would assume that there would be a walkway between Venetian/Palazzo and Wynn/Encore given that they are sister properties.

Yes, Wynn and Encore are connected as are Venetian and Palazzo.

If you haven't looked at Google Maps of the strip lately you should check it out. Its become really detailed with walkways and internal layouts of the casinos. If you take advantage of the elevated pedestrian walkways between casinos you can find a lot of shortcuts.

For instance as Josie said from MB you have internal walkways to Luxor and then to Excalibur. Then from Excal you have a walkway connecting to NYNY, from there a walkway to MGM and from there a walkway to Tropicana. So that is 6 casinos you can visit without ever touching the street level.

We did this on my 2nd trip to Vegas. We walked from Mandalay Bay to the Stardust (I think that was the last casino?). We hit every casino besides the Sahara and The STRAT . We played BJ in every place along the way. We'd bet $5 a hand and when we won $10 total (2 bets) we moved on to the next place. It was a great way to see the strip and the different casinos.

Did you visit all the casinos on both sides of the strip? Can you tell me how long it took you and what route you took?

Thank you everyone for the advice so far. It is very helpful and the google map shows more then I expected.

Ballys-Paris-PlanetHo are all in a row and it's an easy walk between them.

NYNY and Monte Carlo are well within easy walking distance.

    Harrah's and IP/Quad of course.

Harrah's and Mirage is not too bad. It's across the street, but ...

Then there's Riviera and Circus, but does anyone really go there anymore?

We did both sides of the strip. It was around 12 years ago so I can't remember exactly how long it took but it was most of the day. We walked down one side and walked back on the other. We weren't in any kind of rush so i'm sure it could be done faster but our goal was to check every place out. It was a very cool way to enjoy the strip and I am glad we did it.

    Have fun!

MB to Luxor to Excal to NYNY is almost all inside. Short outside walk from NYNY to MC, then inside through the back to Aria. Out back door of Aria and into Vdara (no casino), then into back of Bellagio. Then a bit of a walk to CP.

walking, walking, walking. We have done this more than once... going all the way to Mirage, then across and back down.

You can also walk almost all indoors from Aria to Cosmo by cutting thru crystals.

If you don't mind going outside, walk from a Aria as if you were going to Vdara, but just before you get there, go down some stairs (there's also an elevator) and then walk a few yards to the taxi entrance to Cosmo. Much faster than going through Crystals, especially if you're near the back of Aria.

This wouldn't be ideal in my opinion.

    The path should be

Monte Carlo - Go to the back by the food court to get to Aria
Aria - Go to Crystals and walk outside to get to Cosmo
Cosmo - Go out the front door and head to Bellagio

I wouldn't take the MC->Bellagio Tram if you wanted to hit all casinos along the way. The tram is a nice way to get from Bellagio to Aria(or Monte Carlo) while skipping Cosmo.
