This may seem like a ridiculous question, since the properties are next door to each other. But I'm not overly-familiar with either.

Can you tell me the best way to walk from the Mirage to the sports book at Caesars Palace?

Which exit at Mirage? Which entrance at CP? Any good shortcuts?

Hoping someone can save a lot of trial and error here. Thanks :)

Well, you kinda have to go out to the sidewalk and take a right, when you get to Caesars go in.

Yeah I figured I'd get that kind of response :)

Just wondered if there was a clear-cut fastest route, with a specific exit/entrance, or any other shortcuts I didn't know about. Will need to walk efficiently for this path of the trip, cutting as much time off the walk as possible.

Yeah I think I'd have to do something like that. Looks like there's an exit of Mirage coming out Sugar Factory or some restaurant on that corner of the bldg. Thru the Forum Shops (that'll be a hike) out to the casino. Should be able to get there in 10-15 min if I'm guessing correctly.

I would not go through Forum Shops. Exit Mirage via the walkway past Rhumbar, turn right on the strip. Past the Forum Shops access the enclosed walkway (bridge) to Caesars, which comes out close to the Sportsbook.

Thanks tubbs - will try that instead - agreed going thru Forum Shops would add some time to the walk.

    TRN,
Actually, this is a legit question. In regard to entrances and exits, CP is the one casino in Vegas that confuses more than any other.

Thats what I was thinking I'd do. I don't know if its a shorter route or not, but I'd be willing to walk a little longer anyhow to avoid cutting through the forum shops (always so busy in there plus I still feel like I am getting lost going through there).

    Rumor has it

Rumor has it that you that you've arrived in Vegas when you do the following:

    1. Exit from Caesar's Palace without walking six miles.

    2. Find the rest rooms in the Riveria.

To be serious, don't walk through the forum shops. Hop the people mover and your almost there.

Good question Caesar's can be a maze. Then again, I would get lost in the Gold Coast for quite a while.
