    Hey all,

Does anyone know how often you can buy those promotional Win Cards chips at different casinos?

The website says they are available at Four Queens, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, Riviera and Circus Circus. Is this is a one time offer?

How often depends on the casino.

I remember when Luxor and Excalibur had them there was no consistency between them and Mandalay Bay for how often you could buy them:

Luxor started off where you could buy them only once and then they changed it to once per year and then finally once every 6 months.

Excalibur started off where you could do it only once and then went to once every 6 months and then finally once per month.

Mandalay Bay has always been once every 6 months.

The amount you buy can also vary from either $15 for $10 or $30 for $20, depending on the casino.

They are instruction cards on how to play the games and they come with promotional chips. They are sold as either $10 (comes with $15 in promotional chips) or $20 (comes with $30 in promotional chips).

Can you buy these cards right from the casinos listed or do you have to get them from the website in advance? Thanks.

You buy them from the casino's slot club booth. They will give you a voucher to take up to the casino cage to collect your chips.

But if they are "promo" chips, these are use and lose right? So $30 of promo chips is really worth about $15 at blackjack? Meh. Can the promo chips be used at roulette betting numbers?

No, they are like casino chips: they don't take them from you unless you lose. The only difference between them and regular casino chips is that you can't go to the cage and cash them in.

I don't know about using them at roulette. I would venture that you can't trade them for roulette chips (IE: can't take your $30 in promo chips and trade them for 30 x $1 roulette chips) because then that would open the opportunity for somebody to be able to cash them in

WIN chips are only usable for "even money bets". You can use them for BJ, Baccarat (player or dealer, but not tie), craps pass line bets, and even/odd or black/red roulette bets.

If you haven't gotten these before, I highly recommend them. It's a good bargain, especially if you're wandering the Strip since you can get the bonus at several different properties.

I scour them every summer while I'm in Vegas and always come out ahead at least a little.

I tried to buy them at The Riviera last week and they told me that I no longer qualify that it is one per person per lifetime now. So no more going back every six months for the advantage play. Oh well I didn't gamble in their casino and my friend pulled a dollar off of a slot machine someone left there and turned it into six bucks. Thats what they get for being cheap!

We went into circus circus and they had no problems issuing me another set of cards and chips even though I had done it about a year ago. They said I can do it every six months.

Will have to check MB, Trop, and some of the others.

Four Queens is once per lifetime. Trust me I have tried to con them into it many times, LOL.

Luxor is also once per lifetime as of a couple years ago.

Mandalay Bay is once per 6 months. I'm eligible there again, but the only $10 BJ is CSM.

Excalibur has discontinued it. So has the Hard Rock.

Trop has been inconsistent. They had it, then they didn't, then they had it again. I don't think they are currently participating.

Palms was only for hotel guests, and may have discontinued it.

Circus Circus still does it, for both 10/15 and 20/30 every 6 months.

They are play til you lose chips, plus you get a free dollar dealer tip coupon. Use it on the 1st hand and make a big deal about it, to offset their pain.

NYNY has the 20 for 30 promo deal going on, did it a few weeks ago. Skip the m life booth and go straight to the casino cage, they have the pamphlets in boxes next to the windows
