Hi everyone. Has anyone else noticed that their offers from Four Queens are dwindling? I am going back in March and my latest offer was only a Buy 1 night/Get 1 night free with very little FP. For the last 2 years I've routinely gotten at least 2 nights comped (weekends included) with much more FP on any given month.

It might be my shift of playing more at Boyd Properties lately but just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing.

    Chris

I haven't received anything for March/April yet. My usual is 2-3 nights free and $40 in FB. So far, Nada.

I have found sometimes if I email a casino and tell them the dates I plan to be there and what I would like from them in addition to their mailed offer... that they email back that I can have the extra days, etc. Never hurts to ask... all they can say is their mailer was their best offer.
    ---
We were going to stay 3 days comped at one place downtown and 3 days comped at another casino... one of the casinos emailed back an offer for all 6 days...comped... at their casino...yeah, no moving!!
    ---
Another time a free play offer with 3 days free room ended the day we arrived... they emailed that the free play offer would be good if we could arrive before midnight to download the freeplay and they extended the room offer to the 2 days afterward instead of the 2 days before... very helpful to us.

    Ditto

    Yes, new offer is lower.

My offer for January/February is 2 free nights and additional nights at low $ rates, with $20 free play. Got the March/April offer the other day. It's for 1 free night, but otherwise matches the Jan/Feb offer.

On another note, I'm using the FQ current offer to get two comp nights at the Downtown Grand in a couple of weeks. We want to try the place out and they currently have a deal where they will match a comp from another property (heard about that on this board - thanks, folks!). Limit is 2 nights, and they still charge their $11 nightly resort fee.

I'll be curious to see how it works out. We've made our reservation and I called to clarify because I hate "gotchas" in hidden details. The DTG reservations person said something about "offer has to be three months" which I absolutely did not understand and for which she could not provide a coherent explanation. I went over the offer I have from the FQ, and she said "we'll make an exception." To what I still have no idea. Anyway, we may well end up at the FQ instead when the DTG check-in person acts like they have no idea what I'm talking about.

My brother and I had both been receiving mailers for two free nights plus twenty bucks. He was recently downgraded to buy one get one, mine remained the same. My wife played on her own card last fall and got the two free nights mailer. I was told that El Cor re-evaluates their comp lists every six months; Four Queens seems to do it less often. They still seem to be the easiest room comp downtown.

When we used to play more at the Four Queens (about 3K to 4K per day), we had no trouble at all getting mailers for 3 or 4 days comped, plus $50 FP.
However, we have not stayed there at all since we became regulars at MSS for the last few years, and would no longer get any mailers.

But then, back on our November trip, my wife went over to the 4Q one day, and cycled about 1K. And just a week ago, she got a mailer for one free night, plus additional nights @ $25, plus $20 free-play, plus a $10 Matchplay.

Pretty good offer for such little one-time play ....

My latest offer is also lower than before.

I stayed there in Decmeber on a two free night offer plus a third night at a reduced rate.

I just got my spring mailer and it's a buy one/get one. Very disappointed.

I'm still getting consistent 3 free nights from Golden Gate, so that will probably be my home base for the next trip.

Could it be that what we are seeing with lowered offers from FQ and from Boyd is that occupancy is up and they don't need to use as big a carrot to fill the joints?

    New March/April offers

We received our mailers yesterday. Mine is 3 nights free & $80 in FP, which is actually a bump up from the normal $40 in FP.

My wife also received an offer. 1 night free if she buys 1 night. Also $20 in FP. Really not a bad offer considering she probably played about 15 minutes on her card last Dec. We normally play only on my card.

Well ... with regards to the 4Q occupancy, you have to understand that all the hotel offers to Binion's players are for rooms at the 4Q ... thereby filling up the place more than usual.

Mrs. Flusher got her latest 4Q mailer today (well, yesterday, but you know.)

    No change. Whew!

My mailer and wife's are unchanged. We always play exactly the same coin-in.

My offer was reduced.....but I deserved it. I kind of flitted around and didn't concentrate my play at my home hotel last trip.

Continue to get their random VP/Slot tournament invites and 3 nights free $80 FP offers. Received a $200 FP offer last Aug-Sept which I used up, and they returned to the $80 FP offers.

Always a 9/6 $0.25 JOB player, use the 500 free point coupon from ACG which may boost my play in their eyes. I typically get $40-$50 cash back at the end of each stay. Hope I get the $80 FP for my next trip in June.

I really don't care to stay there anymore as their rooms can use some work and I don't believe they have any funds to perform room upgrades. Still like playing VP in the FQ, as well as their dining options. Will continue to stay at The California when staying downtown and give both properties my VP business. I may branch out with The D offer (in the LVA coupon book) and see if they send a flyer offer to me down the road.

Got my usual offer, $300 Freeplay, two $20 table matchplay, 3 comp nights, all meals, including one dinner for two at Hugo's.

The letters in the offer code correspond to your offer level. I don't have mine in front of me, but two of the letters are the offer month (MA is March/April) and the other one or two letters are your offer level. You can compare the level to your prior offers to see if your level has dropped vs them reducing what you get for that given level.

Got the same offer as zignerlv. It's the "D" mailer (MAD14). This months was the "D" also (JFD14).

There is one mailer above this one I believe which includes unlimited Hugo's. I am guessing that's an "E" mailer? I also assume the lower ones are A, B and C. Anyone else with codes to share?

I got my March/April offer and they have downgraded me to BOGO.

Same freeplay ($40) and a $10 match play.

I have no idea what is going on.

Wow RF, that is quite a downgrade.
