    Hey all,

used to get Rush Tower rooms during the week (no promo) for $79 before tax. Now I'm seeing them during the week for $109. Anyone else stay in the Rush Tower and notice that prices have seemed to increase?

    Thanks.

Nope? I checked the GN website, clicked 'deals', and "web special offer" and it shows $79-89 for weekdays... which is what it has been for quite some time for their standard offer. You can get cheaper with their mailers and orbitz promotions. Their latest offer just expired, will be a new one out in a couple days I imagine.

Too far out. I had a mailer that included July dates a couple weeks ago, but it expired. If the next mailer has July in it I will post the link here. The rates for July two weeks ago were $89/$99 for most dates (incl the 21st).

Donny, I checked the convention schedule, nothing big going on.

Like the previous poster said it might just take a little while for the rates to come down.

Btw, the GN has a great Cyber Monday deal. I got a great rate for a Rush Tower room the week before you're going. I realize it doesn't do you any good this year but definitely check it out this next year on Cyber Monday.

Donny, Cyber-Monday is the Monday following Black Friday after Thanksgiving. Lots and lots of retailers, and a lot of LV casino/hotels, offer great deals via the Internet on that Monday. :peace:

Like some others said, keep an eye on it. The GN rates do fluctuate around a bit. I checked using the link below and Rush rooms seem a bit higher than normal, but not crazy higher. We booked the Cyber Monday deal for our upcoming trip and seems like we paid $59/night for Rush. Couldn't be happier with that deal.

BTW, if I can't find a deal elsewhere, I book using this link -- it's generally about the best rate around and it always includes the coupon book.

SO I recently booked in for July for 'Total estimated cost: $98.54.'

The regular rate for the Rush Tower room was approx $109 and so this was with a discount from an e-mail - general e-mail sent out.

Last year we paid 'Total estimated cost: $89.27'

    Yah, it's only $10...but $10 is $10.

Anyone thing that the Golden Nugget will lower rates as we get closer to July 21?

We booked in January, on an e-mail offer for 15% reg. price of $80/night so we are paying $65/night. I think we some freeplay also? 26 more days!!!!!!!!!! My wife is already packed.
