Looking to going to Vegas during the week in July - would be staying at the Flamingo.

I don't like en empty pool scene. Have always done weekend May Long trips.

I would imagine the pool would be busy in July! The slowest time is right after 4th of July, but I can't imagine any circumstance where the pool would be empty, even if it's pretty slow in Vegas.

Pools are packed in July and Flamingo has one of the better ones on the strip.

Yeah, in July its going to be busy at the pool. One thing I have found is that because it is so hot there can be a pretty high turnaround at some pools so if you get there and don't see any good spots open sometimes you just need to make a lap around the pool area and some decent seating can open up.

Exactly! The Flamingo pool is never dead during prime months! You will likely wish there were less people there rather than more.

The nice thing about Flamingo is the GO Pool is 21 and over so no kids running around. Stopped by there during our July 11-18 trip and it was a great crowd.

One can always spring for a cabana if one wishes for a little more isolation and peace & quiet.

The Flamingo pool gets packed. Included in the 4,000 Flamingo rooms is the 1,100 Hilton Vacations tower behind it. Also, they have put up a bunch of reserved daybeds which take up the space for about 4-6 lounge chairs. And added gaming. I couldn't believe they never tore up the tennis courts to add lounge chairs. It has been too busy for me on my last two visits. My last stay was Labor Day 2012.

Add to the limited deck space is the college boys throwing pool balls they sell at the pool shop. My friend got hit in the face once and me in the chest. I was ready to throw it to the lifeguard.

The Flamingo pool used to be a great attraction to me. But the changes they made tipped the scales.

But if you like it busy, it will be awesome.
Bring your id and room key. They check it at the door.

Agreed, if your over 45 or so it's probably getting to be too noisy & too busy.

Are they still charging $15 for a CET guest to go to Caesars' Garden of the Gods?

Maybe. Pool rules change every year. The new ones should be out in the next six weeks or so.
