John joined this site towards the end of 2013, although I can't recall his userid, but he did a post in the Introduce Yourself forum.

Looks like the server he uses is down. The domain is hosted at zotmy.com and it loads the same page as john-uk.com

That's my guess, or you can email John at [email protected] and ask him what's going on.

    i found this...

    https://www.pinterest.com/source/john-uk.com/

Note: I am not a member of pinterest. When I tried the link above, I could not get back to the page without joining. I originally got there via a Google search, and never logged in. Not really sure how access works.

I hope he gets it back up. I read it through, but went back to reread it, and it was gone. It was an excellent piece of work. Well worth the many hours to read.

John had a 'disagreement' on another board where he was a regular poster. He quit posting and seems to have removed much of what he has posted on the internet over the years.

That's terrible. If he still visits this Board, I think I can speak for a lot of members who really appreciated the efforts of his history site. Like the poster above, I would read it about once a year before a trip just to get my vegas juices flowing. Hope he posts it again sometime soon

It was posted on his site so I assume it's ok to send him email.

I have a gift for everyone who misses this document of Vegas History, and wished they were able to read it again.

Four years ago, in February of 2010, something told me to that I had better archive it onto my computer because one day it might no longer be available (it was large, so I had to break it into 8 different PDF files).

I am sad that I was right, and that it is gone from the link, BUT I am happy that I had the foresight to archive it.

I have uploaded a zip file containing the entire history onto sendspace.com, and for those who would like to download a copy, please PM me (as I am not sure I have permission to post a link where it can be downloaded - if it is okay, Sonia please let me know and I will post the link for everyone to be able to download).

Otherwise, please message me privately and I will provide the link to those who wish to have this great history to revisit whenever they want to.

    Enjoy!!
