How far is the Walgreens from the 4 Queens? Can you give me directions? I'll be walking.

I always get those little side streets confused, but if you take the bus downtown, they stop at 4th and carson and when you get of you walk to fremont in the direction the bus is headed, then go right towards LV Blvd for a block and Walgreens is on the corner. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am wrong .....I often am and often am! It's only a couple of minuets (a couple like 2 or 3).

Exit the 4 Queens onto Fremont Street and turn right, walking east on the block where the D is located. At the stoplight at the end of this block....Walgreens will be directly across the street on your right. 2-3 minutes maximum to walk there....less time if you're a fast walker!

The Walgreens is about a block and a half from Four Queens. Fremont Street, the part under the canopy, isn't that big so almost everything is either across the street or about 1-3 blocks from everything else.

It's right across the street at the east end of the canopy, so maybe 2 blocks?

I reckon you can see Walgreens from the Fremont Street exit of the 4Q.

    Nice and easy.

Likely a dumb question, but do they sell beer at this Walgreens? If so, is it cheaper than it is at the Walgreens on the strip?

They do not have beer or liquor - I was there on Sunday.

I would go down to the ABC Store for beer (next to Golden Nugget) but there are so many little souvenir shops on Fremont Street and quite a few of them sell beer

    To summarize:

    1. When you walk out of 4Qs, and you want a beer -- turn left to ABC.

    2. When you walk out of 4Qs, and you want a drug -- turn right to Walgreens.

The ABC Store also sells bottle openers so you can enjoy your liquid purchase immediately.

    FYI,
Just like me you probably have 100 bottle openers at home. Throw one in your suitcase. All the Chinese bottle openers in LV are at least 3.95 plus tax. and don' look for one in your room mounted!

I used to always wonder why there was a bottle opener mounted in the bathroom next to the toilet. Always wondered if it was some sort of time saver lol

    Canary,
That sounds like to Walgreens on LV Blvd; that has been vacant for a couple of years.
