    Pardon my embarrassment.
That performance by the Bears was awful last night. Is that my tail between my legs ? They were definitely not mentally nor physically prepared. They were handed a golden opportunity, with the Lions & Packers both losing in the afternoon ... and then they go out on the field and lay an egg ... terrible !!

I sure hope the Bears are ready for the Packers on the 29th, or else they can wave bye-bye to the play-offs.

i'd say their is about a 1% chance that cutler is back next year. with those receivers and matt forte, he should be setting records.

I share in your embarrassment, last night's performance was possibly the worst defensive performance in NFL history.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Their defense is so terrible :grrr: they can't possibly compete in the playoffs so even if the get in they'll be one and done. Let's at least hope they can be competitive against the Packers.

I'm a Raider fan and therefore, really used to embarrassment, but dammmmnnnn I had some serious money on the Bears +3 last night... it was the proverbial "sure thing" in my mind! Shows ya what I know...

Based on different scenarios last nights game was potentially a meaningless game for the Bears and I'm sure that filtered down to the players. Even Trestman indicated there might be certain cases where starters might be rested. :nono: It was the wrong message and it showed by their performance. :grrr:

It was a meaningless game for the Eagles. Just shows a difference in coaching and attitude. i like Chip Kelly.

Once the Lions and Packers both lost in the afternoon, in my mind, a Bears' win was even MORE important. With a Bears' win against the Eagles, the playoff spot was guaranteed !!!! Then, it's the Packers game that becomes meaningless. Any player or coach that could not see that last night doesn't deserve their job .... :grrr:

    It wasn't meaningless for seeding.

It would be a stupid move. Sure they do well with him, but they did well without him also.

    Eagles/ dallas

Which Eagle team shows up Sunday nite? I hope they run the cowboys out of the stadium but this offense is diamonds one week and dust the next.

The Eagles were tired from running up and down the fields against the Bears but they still managed to squeak out a win against the Cowboys. Kudos to Chip Kelly.

As for the Bears, utter embarrassment turns into utter disappointment. The "fumble" recovery for a TD was a joke! I wonder how many times in their football careers starting with peewee did the coach tell them to play until you hear a whistle, yet in one of the most important games they fail to do so. :grrr:

They were competitive but didn't deserve to win. :nono: Looking forward to some good playoff FB.

Soooo... do you think they bring both Cutler and McCown back (if they can afford to?) or do they let Cutler go, keep McCown and draft someone?. Curious as to your take?

Cutler is coming back unless he wants some ridiculous amount of money.
McCown, assuming he wants to keep playing, would be back if hewould accept ressonable backup QB money.

Good QB's are hard to find so they'll keep Cutler and draft a backup. It would be nice to keep McCown in addition to Cutler but they can only spend so much at the QB position so McCown will end up elsewhere.

Im sorry but I was at the MNF game-I didn't care if this game was meaningless or if in fact it meant something, I wanted ARodg to go into Soldier Field to KICK ASS & get our revenge!!! Took him out, we knocked them out of the playoffs!

On to the 9ers, who stopped us last year and kicked our butts this year, Revenge time! (again)
