went saturday nite to marque left around 330 and tried to hit the tables at cosmo heres my reviews.
high limit bj tables 200 minium at dd and 6 deck and 300 at baccarat ,not crowded at all.

out side single deck and dd was all 6/5 hit s17. tables where 25$ to100$

    8 deck 2/3 hit s17 25$ and up
    the regular floor was packed

way to many drunk and Foreigners at the tables making it im possible to play.i saw one guy play so bad that he made a guy loose 3 grand in 20 minutes by his bad playing,it was kinda funny after a while even they looseing started laughing even though he wanted to strangle the guy.

i wound up leaving and going to aria after almost getting into a fight with a guy swearing i coudnt get a private table at casino to play by myself ,he wanted to bet me 100 grand that it wasnt possible.

it got to be pretty comical after a while but at 5 am i had enough of the db factor and went to aria.

Was that the minimums in the talon room or the high limit. That seems a tad high for Cosmo HL, even on a saturday

just the regular high limit room ,the one on the man floor.

actualy ive seen it alot higher.

ive seen dd at 500 and 6 deck at 300$ that the usual late nite weekend rates in there.

they are forcing every one onto there crapy tables on the main casino 6/5 .

those tables where 25$ -100$ and they where packed.not by gambelers just druk niteclub kids.

the talon was open around midinite i walked by it notsure if it was open all nite i should have stopped in i but forgot all about it,its so out of the way and forget about it..

pss only 3 tables where open in the hl one dd ,one 6 deck one baccarat

That's interesting. I've been in there a handful of times this year during late Saturday nights and those limits are a LOT higher than I have seen. In fact, $500 is more likely the limit you will see in the talon room and the talon limits are higher than the HL room.

What weekends have you seen it a lot higher than that?? Was there some event going on there last night?

I don't play much BJ anymore, but Cosmo will set unusual table minimums throughout their floor at times. I have been there on many occasions where all their UTH minimums were $25. While $25 does not sound like much for a table game, that is a high minimum for this game. You see drunk people sit down and buy in for $100 and they can barely play one hand with it.

And those idiots are probably giving up 15% of an ante at least since they are likely clueless.

100 to 200 is what I have seen as well, but I have only observed it go to $300 at night, not 500 and higher. In fact, the only time I have seen 500 in the HL at Cosmo is when I asked them to raise it while I was playing. And then they always lowered it after I left

High limit at cosmo for BJ always seems to be 200 min.
I will be there next weekend, ill scope it out. If its empty in the HL rooms on the main floor, they will let you play for even 100.

If I must, ill make the trek to aria.

What are the rules for their high limit DD game? On par with the MGM props?

How can one player's bad play cost somebody else money? I hear this happen alot but can not figure out the logic or math of it.

easily if a dealer has a bust card and the idiot stoped each time she would have busted and the guy woudnt be down a few grand.

by hitting he kept taking her bust cards and was killing his play i was watching it right in front of me and the dealer kept asking are you sure want to keep hiting.

he might get lucky once in a while by hitting on his 16 with a dealer 6 up but in the long run he wont and he can screw up the rest of the table.

same with a guy who hits on a hard 2o with a dealer show a 10 up he figures he cant win becuase he needs 21 to win so he hits its a true story.

or the guy who splits tens

Pass. Not consistently comfortable playing bj at $200 a hand as too often it feels like the first 10 hands or so is part of an episode of Ow, My Balls. I do want to get rated at the Cosmo though so it will have to be based on Pai Gow. Wish more casinos had it in hl rooms but the only 1 in LV that I know had it at least at one time was Harrahs. Unless at a table with friends, my preference is to play with 1 or 2 people max and I never had more than 1 in a hl room.

To the OP or anybody else, any comments on the Pai Gow table limits or number of players? Any special beers available for comps at tables, say like MB has Lagunitas IPA? I would overlook many flaws for a few hours of cards and a good IPA. However, I do draw the line at 6:5 BJ.
