    YTD : 4-1 (+2.90 units)

I am normally not a big trend guy but I am going to play this one.

This is the 10th largest spread in NFL regular season history.

In the 20 regular season games in history with the largest spreads the favorite is 2-18 ats!

Seattle is coming of an emotional win and will not be up for this game.

    Maurice Jones-Drew back for Jacksonville.

Holding my nose and taking Jacksonville.

Jacksonville +20 (-110) MGM Mirage sportsbooks

I'm a huge fan of Seattle but even I would have a hard time giving 20. I'm not one to bet too much, but I'd either take Jacksonville or just stay away from this game all together.

The last time I layed 20 points in a pro game was the Super Bowl between the 49ers and Chargers. And the 49ers covered the number! No way would I ever give up that many points in a regular season game. If you bet this game at all, you have to hold your nose and take the Jags even though they are very clearly the worst team in the league. I could see the Seahawks due for a letdown after the huge win last week and only win by say, 19!

Seattle coach is clearly an emotional guy.
Jags head coach was his defensive signal caller for a few years.
Would he embarrass him if given the chance or would he take his foot off the gas pedal?

Jax is really bad & might not score a point. Not saying I'm going to take Seattle-20, but I could see a big blowout in this one.

    Line is fluctuating.

Mirage, Wynn, and Jerry's Nugget still have 20.

Thank you for subtely correcting my expression.

They have only scored 9 points in two weeks against average defenses and their top weapon has a foot sprain. Seattle just stomped 49ers by 26 points.

The game is in Seattle again this week.

    Just my opinion.

If the RAIDERS could beat Jax...then I KNOW the Seahawks can SMASH them...but 20+....I dunno...that sounds like a Pat's spread...

If I can get it at 20 then I will bet it on general principle of them being a 20pt dog.

Seattle is for real at home. I love their defense!

As previously mentioned the Jags HC is Gus Bradley, formerly the Seahawks DC...so I am hoping he will use his knowledge to help slow Wilson and the Hawks O down a bit (although their offense hasn't been great these first two games)

    Seattle all the way---

20 points is a easy cover for this team

MJD is questionable with an ankle sprain, but will likely play.

I seem to remember Seattle winning 58-0 last year against a much better team than these D-leaguers ...

But it is Seattle... they usually have 2-3 games a year where the whole team just fails to show up.

Yup, they did... though with the rain I was thinking that'd slow scoring down, but didn't.

But I have no clue how bad Jacksonville is, I was just saying that from watching the Seahawks for more than 25 years that they always seem to have a few games every season where the whole team just doesn't show up and with the huge line this coulda been the one.
