Does anyone know of a regularly updated website that lists and gives comprehensive reviews and information about the different types of rooms available at each strip/downtown/off-strip property? Of particular interest would be specific information on how recently each hotel and/or room type has been remodeled or updated.

    Thanks!

I love Orbitz and TripAdvisor. Up to the minute reviews from people staying at each property. Orbitz has numerous pics from each property as well.

Cheapovegas has a pretty good listing of different type rooms and what they include. It is a little more difficult to navigate than it used to be, but if you scroll to the bottom of their landing page where it says "most popular hotels in Las Vegas" you can see pretty current updates on room types. If you try to click on anything up above it sends you to their websites.

    I third that...

I agree. With the detailed photos on Oyster.com and mostly honest reviews on Tripadvisor, you can still choose a bad place, but you greatly improve your chances of happiness.

    Best of luck!
