Closest Restaurants to Le Reve Theatre?

Hey all,

My wife and I will be seeing Le Reve at 7:00 on a Saturday in August. We had originally booked Sinatra at 5:30 but I'm wondering if we'll have enough time to eat and get to the theatre without feeling rushed. Looking for recommendations for dinner close by. It doesn't have to be expensive or fancy. Just good food without feeling rushed, with an earlier restaurant opening time.

Also, we plan to go to Parasol up/Down after the show. Any ideas for how to avoid and beat the crowds? Is it pretty packed after a show lets out?

Sinatra is a goog choice but if you will feel rushed all depends on you guys. If you like to do a 3 course meal it will indeed be a little thight even though its only a 5 minute walk to the theatre.

Since your are eating so early no fine dining restaurants will be open before then. Go to Wynns website and check out casual dining if you like to eat earlier. Society café has great food and Red 8 is good for chinese. The Buffet could also be an option since i know they open early for dinner.

 

Allegro would be a good choice in the Wynn Casino right near the theatre. They do a pre show menu I believe.

 

I think they open at 530 as well and is a pretty huge step down from Sinatra. I think is the only restaurant i been really dissapointed with at Wynncore.

 

I was actually pleasantly surprised with Allegro. I just had lunch though, so I can’t vouch for dinner. And it probably would be quite a step down from Sinatra. But really, so is about any option that will get you in and out in time for the early show.

I have really enjoyed La Cave (Wynn) the few times I’ve eaten there. I’m pretty sure they open for lunch and stay open through dinner. So you could eat as early as you wanted. Get the crab lettuce cups!

I also enjoy Society Café and Wazuzu (both in Encore). But both are MUCH more casual than Sinatra, if that's an issue.

I usually have my pre-dinner drinks at Parasol Up/Down so I can’t really comment on how busy it will be after a show lets out. It has never been terribly crowded in the early evenings, though.

 

apologizing in advance for not answering the question in the manner it was asked, i would recommend a cocktail or two, along with the complimentary bowls of nuts and snacks at parasol down before the show, enjoy the show, and then have reservations in hand for an unrushed dinner at sinatra after the show.

 

Great recommendation, kitson. The snack mix and chips are fantastic. Then get a Sinatra Smash and you’ll have a handful of booze-filled blackberries you can have for dessert!

 

I like the idea of doing Parasol before, except for the fact that we were hoping to catch that Lake of Dreams show. It just looks to quirky and bizarre to pass up

 

How about eating at SW then. Get a table on the patio and u get a great view for the show.

Not that this answers your question either, but I'll say this, having seen various Lake of Dreams shows. I certainly wouldn't dissuade you from seeing it. But I don't know if I'd necessarily arrange my schedule around it.
