Whether or not he pulled the trigger (and he damned well may have) there is plenty of proof that he is a thug (not to mention dumb as a rock). The exchange is really geared towards families although I guess they will exchange for anyone. I'm thinking that keeping kids from wearing the shirt of a known gangbanger can only be a good thing.

I know I would have never let my kids wear a Ray Lewis shirt.

They are reducing their affiliation with a public relations problem for the price of a Chinese made shirt. Smart money.

It's likely this thug was involved in at least three murders, but then again he plays in the National Felon League, which I haven't watched since the season Rae Carruth murdered his baby mama and was later found hiding in the trunk of his car. This was the same season Ray Lewis capped off his Super Bowl celebration by selecting post game murder and mayham over Disney World.

If they do this for every thug player, the last two jerseys for sale will be Tim Tebow and a kicker on visa from Norway.

No more jello for me, mom.

in the court of public opinion, he's guilty as hell, so that's why they're just cutting all ties with him. and they know many fans who might have purchased the jersey want to do the same. it's a nice thing to do, but it's certainly more about the positive PR spin than anything.

He may not be convicted but it seems like the Pats are signaling that they think he's capable of the charges.

Presumption of innocence is a legal distinction and has nothing to do with this nation's obsession with deifying marketable (or now no longer marketable) commodities.

I think NE had their own investigation team do research and uncovered stuff that we know nothing about for them to quickly cut him from the team. :wink2:

Yup! I've never deified a marketable commodity cuz that's just junk science.

Leave the presumption of innocence to the jury and the courts.

As far as I'm concerned he's guilty as all get out. :wink2:
