I have noticed a post or two about Ellis Island Steak Special and tacos at The Paris(?) Lounge, which are not on the menu. You just have to know. Anyone have any secrets from the strip that they would be willing to share?

I find that these off menu items for those in the know are often the best deals and/or items.

Feel free to include food, drinks, entertainment, etc.

Not on the strip but the Gambler's special at the Hard Rock (Mr. Lucky's 24-7 cafe)

$7.77 Gamblers Special comes with a salad, a steak, 3 grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes

I'd guess 8-10 oz maybe... it's not huge by any means but it's not dinky either... it's a good meal. I like the garlic mashed potatoes that come with it.:licklips:

I'm pretty sure that the tacos deal you're referencing is the $2 taco, beer, margaritas from ballys?

Al's Oyster bar at the Orleans will make an oyster chowder if you ask. It is not on the menu with the clam and seafood chowders. I think it was $11 last time I had it. Pricey, but good.

I was under the impression that this was removed when the place was recently renovated. Can anyone confirm this?
