Staying at Aria for the 1st time in July, Sunday thru Thrusday. Will I have any issues finding a lounger at the Aria Pool. After staying at places like The Mirage it can be hard trying to find a seat and don't want to go through that anymore. Also do they have a pool cafe that you can get something to eat without having to go back thru the hotel?
Stayed at Aris MDW 2011 and no issues finding lounge chairs at the pools. Actually got 4 next to each other right around noon on Saturday. They had waitresses for drinks but was also able to bring drinks from the room down as long as they were in an Aria plastic cup. The cafe is right there so you can easily go to and from your lounge to grab a bite.
I stayed at Aria over the Mayweather fight weekend. Although the weather wasn't so great on the Saturday and Sunday, the Friday it was about 85 degrees and we managed to get two loungers at about half ten. From midday onwards, it got really busy and the attendants were helping people find loungers. If you're not going at a peak weekend, you'll have absolutely no problem finding 2-4 loungers together at any time of the day.
Thanks for the great info. I am really excited to be staying at the Aria, after all the bad press it seemed to be getting when it 1st opened, I have been reading some really good reviews about it lately.
Me and my girlfriend loved the Aria. The location is good, the casino is good and don't believe all of the you can't get low minimums everywhere. During the day there's $10 blackjack, roulette and craps going. Even during the Saturday of the Mayweather fight, you could find $15 minimums at certain tables. Try and get a higher room when you check in and ask for a strip view as you can get some great views at night.
I just checked out today from Aria. We were able to get seats t the pool Thur.-Sat. And arrived between noon and 1pm every day. We usually get there earlier but not on this trip and it was fine. Earlier arrivals do get the best sets though.
Good to hear, I don't mind waking early to get a good seat, since we are east coasters being early should not be a problem. Does any know if the breeze cafe is open for Breakfast???
I saw on Yelp that the hours are 9AM-4PM. I could not find anything about Breeze on the ARIA site. But, I didn't spend a lot of time looking.
I'm just wondering about a backup plan in case the pool is too crowded and it's hard to find some seats... I've seen some other posts for other hotels mentioning being able to pay and reserve a chair (maybe in a different section). I don't think Aria has this available though right? Besides that, I've seen some other posts mentioning tipping one of the attendants to have them find you a seat? Some silly questions...how exactly does that work? You just ask them to help you and they somehow know if seats are really in use or not? How much are you supposed to tip them? What are the chances they are wrong and someone comes out of the pool wanting their seats back?
We have always been able to find seats. Some of our friends arrived around 2:00 pm and tipped the attendants who found them seats. You should not need a plan B. We were surprised to find the Breeze Café is now closed. Supposedly they are going to be renting that space to someone else. The space is completely vacant. I hope it's not another Day Club type deal. Anyway we were able to get lunch at the pool bar which has some tables in the shade.
So are the 3 pools sort of spread out with areas of chairs between them? Or is each one it's own little sectioned off area?
There are 3 separate pools , not counting Liquid the party pool, with walkways and landscaping between them . Each pool has multiple rows of chairs surrounding it. Very similar set up to most Vegas pools.
I like to swim laps in the early morning. I know the pools aren't Olympic size but are they long enough for lap swimming?
How about cabanas and daybeds? Appoximate cost for rental during the week and what is included? I'm only interested in the main pools not Liquid. May not be necessary except my husband is very fair and we like to spend long hours by the pool. Would be nice for him to have shade and a place to relax while I am sill sun worshipping. Thanks to any who respond.
I think the rates for cabanas is on their website. There are a couple different sizes. We rented a LARGE one last June on a Sunday and I think it was around $700 during the week less.We had 10 people there. It was worth it. Smaller ones are around $350 during the week and more on weekends. Check the website.
Thanks Nittany1 - I checked website before posting however I didn't find anything. May be due to using an IPad instead of regular computer. It never seems to work right for MGM properties. Thanks for the info tho!
I just checked it is on the website.Don't use the IPad app. Arialasvegas.com/pools-spa/pools/cabanas Have fun.
