I saw a summary of BJ games in Vegas and Bellagio was listed as having a $50 double deck game. When I was there last summer I couldn't find a double deck game below $100 there. Does anyone know if $50 is accurate now?

I stayed at Bellagio last summer and found a few double deck (S17) games at $50. It was always in the morning, though. They always bumped them up to $100 or more by around noon or one.

That must have been my problem. I'm there for a conference so most of my gaming was afternoon and evening.

If you're looking at the Wizard's site, I don't think that chart has been updated in a couple years.

Aria had double deck in the high limit room but was $100 also. But they serve remy Martin xo and most top shelf liquor. Majority of the tables were 200 in the room besides 1 double deck and 1 full shoe during Super Bowl weekend.

The $100 minimums is why I played more over at Venetian and Paris just walking to those $25 tables. Biggest issues were no doubling after splits though.

And H17. The DD game at Paris is a poor imitation of the game at Bellagio and Aria.

At Aria its not just in the HL room they have it on the main floor in the "higher limit" pit as well, just like Bellagio. I hear you on the top shelf liquor but something about the vibe in 'Carta Privada' rubbed me the wrong way. Too many dudes just hanging out or something every time I went in.

MGM had it for $50 on the main floor on a busy Friday night so that should be a pretty good bet. Same rules as B/Aria plus its a pitch game and the table was completely empty when I played.

For the good (S17, DAS) double deck game at $50, you should look at MGM, Aria (during slower times of the day), and the Mirage. Bellagio is still the biggest moneymaker for MGM Resorts by a long shot, so they are always going to have higher minimums than the other places. I don't know how often they have it, but during a random walk through Luxor, they had this same DD game in their high limit room at a $50 minimum. Also remember that a 6 deck, S17 game with late surrender is a close second to the DD game. You will find that to be more plentiful at sub $100 minimums, even at Bellagio sometimes. Don't get suckered in to playing the crappy DD games you'll find at CET properties. They have lower minimums because their games have a higher house edge. H17, no DAS, 6:5 in some cases etc all add up remarkably fast (of course if you see 6:5, run - don't walk).

Early surrender? Is this for real?

Where is that game? I've only played at the S17 shoe game in pit 17 (at the far west edge of the table games area north of the HL slots).

No, no one has offered early surrender for decades (as soon at the casinos figured out that it gives the player the advantage). I'm sure he meant late surrender.

At 'off times', I've found the Bellagio 6-deck S17, RSA, Surrender game for $25 pretty easily. This is well worth seeking out. I'm sure you can find it for $50 at any time.

I have a hard time picturing what is north/south inside the casino. Best way I can describe it is if you walked out of the Mansion gaming area and hang to your right you'll see some pai gow poker(?) tables. Its in that general gaming area, behind those tables towards the center of that entire table games area. Sort of near Wolfgang.

In other words when you walk in from the main lobby and start hitting the table games area you have them to your left and to your right. This is in the area to your right. Hope that helps.
