I usually only stay at MGM Props and will be again when coming in July, but have a Total Rewards Card also now from using in Tahoe, so Flamingo & PH offering 6 out of 7 nights comp'ed, so was going to book room, just wasnt sure what would be better for 4 guys, Flamingo or PH. From what i have read, the pool scene at Flamingo is much better than PH, but PH seems more i guess "hip", only other + is my other room is at Mirage, so Flamingo is closer, but we do have a car. Wont be in room much since down there for NBA Summer League, but figured this was the best place to find out where is better to stay between the 2. Thanks!

I am typing this a a Flamingo fan.

The Hollywood hip rooms are a better choice than the Fab room by far at the Flamingo. The Premimum Strip rooms are a good choice vs. the Go Luxury rooms.

If the pool scene is a big deal to you than go with The Flamingo. The Go pool is great scene for a party pool without breaking the bank.

PH is better for casino fun, shopping and food.

Location is best descirbed by you. PH is closer to Aria and Cosmo. Flamingo is closer to Belagio and Ceasars.

If can avoid drving that is a good thing.

If ANY of you 4 want to get laid, go PH.

if you like your coffee early and your crowds quiet, go Flamingo

    I should've worded that differently I guess

I don't think there's a place on the strip that is BAD for guys, I just think that PHo is one of few places that is ideal for guys

Nothing wrong with Flamingo. I actually like the place, just a lot quieter

Flamingo is crappy, and old and dirty. For me, Flamingo only works in a pinch, and only if it's dirt cheap, and ONLY in a GO room, other wise it's never on the table. As for being for guys, the rooms are pink!!! Haha ;) Even if they have a nice pool scene. Yea, it's an older and less desirable crowd at Flamingo.

PH should be good! The rooms are much nicer, the property is one of the best on the strip, so much to see and do, you can eat at BURGR, the location is great, you can walk over to Cosmo, seems like a no brainer to me.

We stayed at the Flamingo last September. The pool scene was good and there are a lot of people (and girls) in your age range at their pool. If you or your friends are outgoing, you wont have any issues stricking up a conversation in the pool and making new friends. Good music, worthwhile drinks. Very fun vibe. Rooms are older and the hotel has nothing appealing in terms of clubs or casinos.

Planet Hollywood has the Clubs, decent room, and a good vibe all around the resort for 20-40s. The pool is nothing.

Possibly you could call and ask if you are able to access the Flamingo pool with your PH card since its a Ceaser's property.

I believe Caesars does not let other CET guests use their pool (at least not for free), but I hear conflicting reports about Flamingo. Does anyone know for sure?

Flamingo charges other CET guests $15. It is on their website this year.
