    when does the heat start in vegas is it getting hotter by the day, anybody just been?

    I go to Vegas in August most of the time -- it's usually 105+. It's really not that bad unless you're in the sun.

    The heat isn't bad to me in Vegas. It's not humid. I rather take 100s in Vegas than high 80s-90s in Chicago any day.

    You might want to be more specific. I would guess half the year it starts getting hotter, and half the year it gets colder.

    Heat means different things to different people.

    Yep, I was just about to say that you'd probably start drawing some spreading 3 or 4 to one, depending on the joint. ;)

    Went from 10-17 April. First five days were very hot, next two were very cold. Check on www.wunderground.com, scroll down to almanac and you can check any dates from the last few decades and it will give you averages over the years for those days as well. That's what I usually use. BTW some of the days last week were hotter than when I was there in August once!

    The heat will kick in middle may, by late may it's almost a guarantee. I like it till it hits 100, 90's feels great.
