Anyone know if there's different cards for different tiers? Maybe having one, two or three of those hologram diamonds to signify your diamond tier?

I am now "Tier 1" and I guess get my $100 dinner on my trip in a couple weeks, but wonder if there is a new card to go with it.

Funny thing is, this upcoming trip already comes with a $300 food credit (it was an offer), so now I have this other $100, so I plan to just charge everything to my room and let host sort it out.

Did almost 18,000 points on last trip, which was only two days, so might make Tier 2 by end of this four day one, but Tier 2 doesn't seem like too big a deal, Tier 3 seems a bit more "perky"

I'm looking at my diamond card and I don't see a single diamond hologram at all. I must be below level one, the cubic zirconium tier or something.

The old design (the silver ones) had a little Diamond hologram in the corner, haven't pulled out a new one to look at, I assumed it did.

I believe 40,000 and 80,000 are the levels. I am not near that but with the 5,000 bonus tier points after earnning 2500 it may not be that long to get to 40,000 if I go 3-4 more times in the near future. I am also wondering what perks do you get for 40,000 and 80,000?

sounds like they're giving you what you should already be getting at the level of play that is required to reach those thresholds.

Yeah, but it's in writing up front, less guessing or hoping your host is in a good mood and willing to comp a lot that stuff off your tab.
(not to mention getting properly credited for your play)

    Less guesswork and "maybes"

Prior to ASS-pirations when TR Insider was active, they used to print a little + symbol on the card. I've done the math and the coin in to make Ass. level 3 is better spent at more favorable games off strip for return. CET can't give me enough diamond lounge hooch or cr@ppy rooms in vegas to consider pursuing being a level 2 or 3.

Their tier benefits are still much better than MLife's. MGM has the better properties and better gambling, but their tier program is basically bullshit. In addition to those Diamond aspiration benefits engicedave listed you still have the original Diamond benefits as well. Now with the tier bonuses you can get to Level 3 in just 11 days of playing $5 VP for about 2 hours each day. Those benefits listed are not play dependent as far as I know, they're just things you get after reaching that level. Mlife may give you those things without requiring play on a certain trip if you have a good history but its not enunciated the way it is here. Plus with the play you need to earn Diamond Level 3 you're not going to get something like airfare from Mlife.

CET gives Diamond Level 3 a lot more than MLife gives Noir...albeit with a worse gaming company though.

Then 7* has a bunch of other stuff above all this with more hard dollar value and just blows Noir out of the water.

7 star today is what diamond front end offerings used to be 5 years ago. CET is attempting to generate excitement on a program that continually offers less. I expect they will continue to downgrade the offerings.

I was Diamond over 5 years ago and I can't recall any $1,200 free air fare or $500 dinners as benefits. Yes, I used to get air fare offers for New Orleans or Reno, but never Vegas.

Not literary. But level of benefits and comps were on par with 7 star. Getting suites, front end rfb, and special events invites were plentiful. Same level of play gets me free rooms and tier bens but not much else.

Diamond Level 2 makes me laugh. Talk about something to shoot for. I'm sure many are really pounding the machines trying to hit that 40k TCs so they can get 4 nights for free in Vegas. Ya know, cause running at a minimum, 75k coin in over 5 days wouldn't be enough to get a free room from CET any time you wanted anyways.

When I first started going to Vegas 7 years ago or so, my first trip was spent at Harrah's (with in-laws, pretty funny looking back now). After that first trip, I've never paid for a room. I stuck with CET the first few trips as I was getting comped rooms anytime, and after my second or third trip they started adding FP and F&B. My bankroll continued to grow, and I began spreading some of the "padding" of that bankroll exploring other properties and players clubs. The majority of it stayed at CET though as a safety net, knowing the rooms would be there any time. Fast forward to today. My bankroll is bigger than ever, but when booking my last trip a few weeks back, and an upcoming trip in May, I couldn't get anything but The Quad and Rio comped. Meanwhile, I continue to get MGM offers with 3-4 nights comped (depending on the property) and along with 2-300 in FP and 150-200 in F&B. I also still get the occassional offer from the Wynn for $3-500 in FP and 3 comped nights at the nicest property in Vegas. Outside of Caesars, I think most of the CET properties are not even in the same league as mid to upper MGM and the Wynn is in it's own category IMO. Needless to say, CET saw next to no play from me this last trip other than some light craps action at Margaritaville in the morning.

Tightening of comps is expected (although my increased play should more than offset that), but CET isn't getting any more play from me in their lower end casinos with crappy odds. MGM seems to be doing the same based on comments here and their changes to their system back in the fall, but IMO that was rather light tightening that mainly affected TCs and ECs. They still have other goofy things as well (like premium slots, which I still haven't found out how they treat in terms of ADT), but on the whole they seem to be the better of the big ones right now. The Wynn actually gives me the best value in terms of comps, but I'm not hosted there and their corporate offers are a bit more sporadic and hard to rely on being consistent.
