Although MSS is our home casino, I am not quite sure of the location of Pullman Grille. We will be having a function at that location. Does anyone know of its specific location?

No longer open, but next to the elevator bank.

It is now the gathering place for the Hawaiian groups in the early morning for the tour groups. They also use it occasionally for private parties.

Oh I miss it. Excellent food, but I think its now been gone for ~7-9 years.

Alas, the Pullman Grille....RIP. I was only able to dine there twice, but it had wonderful ambiance.

As Joe pointed out, as you walk down the hall from the hotel checkin desk, the elevators will be on your left, and the doors to the Pullman Grille are on the right.

There used to be (still is?) a beautifully carved wooden eagle nearby.

Still is there. Some very impressive antiques in that hall as you walk away from the front desk towards the gift shop and the elevators.

If the doors are open for some event, I step in to look around. It's a beautiful room and I regret never dining there.

I'm not sure if they would let anybody in there, but on the wall opposite the small bar are the steps up to the smoking lounge. The lounge is/was the train car you see outside on the north end of MSS.

I hate the smell of smoke, but after every dinner we had at the Pullman, we'd take an after dinner drink up to the smoking car, just to take in the ambiance of what old train travel was like. Very cool. Similar to the train cars parked on Main Street, but you got to go inside this one.

    Thank you

Thank you all for the responses. Now I know I passed it numerous times when using the elevators. MSS became our home casino about two years ago so it had not been opened. I will be with a Hawaiian Group and that will be our banquet location.

We had a banquet one other time but it was in that room in front of the entrance near the check in. As you exit that entrance, it is across the small road and to the left. I do not know what it is called and thought may be that was the Pullman Grille.

Off hand I can't tell you the cutesy name for that place, but yes they do have a lot of banquets in there and you do have to leave the hotel/casino to get in there.

I dined in Pullman grille ....maybe twice ?
    It was wonderful.
    .
I did walk in there last trip.
Some guy was seated at a folding table -
waiting for a group to show up ?
I chatted about how much I loved the woodwork
and he let me in to look around + take photos.

Just FYI, I just got my copy of the boyd quarterly magazine, the last page was an ad for pullman catering and there was a picture in the pullman.

It was a special 2013 edition of the boyd cal newsletter. Guess it was because of the retirement of the table games manager (jeff weiss) and introduction of the new table games manager, also listed all the casino shift managers.

anyway, if you are interested in seeing inside the pullman.

I was truly impressed with MSS the first time I went in there, the woodwork and lights are all beautiful. The staff is beyond exceptional- from dealers to concierge to buffet staff. A+

Whoa, great pics Big Tip, really brings back great memories.

Am I the only one who noticed that there were no V/P machines at the bar?

No wonder I have only visited this place once many years ago?

The rail car you see in the right of the picture Big Tip posted is the Louisa May Alcott rail car, circa 1870s.

American author most known for Little Women. That was the martini and smoking lounge when the restaurant was open.

The entrance doors to the restaurant are from the Pullman mansion.
