I've been experimenting with blackjack in MyVegas. I've noticed that for whatever bet size you wager, you get about 50% of it's value in XP. Yesterday I got my stack size to around 100K and I would play 2 hands betting 5K each. Then when I hit 200K I did 10K each hand (only 2 hands still). I played for a solid hour at this rate and went from a level 100-105 I believe (might of started as 101). I basically ran up and down between 200K and 400K betting in this pattern and my average bet was 20-50K a hand which yielded 50% of those values in XP every single hand I played.

Anyone else use blackjack to level up ridiculously fast?

5K for the 5 level ups plus whatever he got for just the bets. ;)

The Blackjack method is one of the fasted if you're willing to grind high numbers. Hold off on slot play for a week or two, just collect from properties and spins. Then start flat betting 10K a hand. You will level very very quickly. The top level players who didn't buy chips are all blackjack players. And you can do it whether you know perfect strategy or not because you can just have the card printed out or open on the screen.

I think as long as you're betting 1000 or more per round at Level 58 or above (multiple hands don't speed it up) you'll get 10 LP per 6 rounds. Any time you double or split, it will count toward 1/6th of a coin too. This is the clear way to speed up collecting XP though if you're willing to spend time playing the game. The game only has a ~0.5% house edge if you play well, way better than the slots (roughly 10%).

I have had great success leveling and getting VP playing blackjack... I have also had really bad luck playing blackjack on myvegas. I have read many say that they don't think the game is random in the way it deals the cards... and I am on the fence. The game has seem much more streaky to me than regular blackjack. Yesterday I played and lost 26 hands out of 31.. the other 5 were pushes. I have also gone on streaks where I have won 15+ hands in a row... more than once. I'm not playing perfect strategy, but I'm close... I play strategy for dealer hits on soft 17, but I think there are only 5 or 6 plays that are different.

Has anyone done anything to determine if the game is "fixed"?

Just had an EPIC day playing Blackjack on MyVegas. Started out with just under 50k. Jumped up to approx 1.8 million. If only this were real life. Definitely a wonky game though. Hitting on 13's always seems to play out in the player's favor. Now the real question...How to get the most LP's for my upcoming tip in early June!

This is true their 13's in my experience turn into 21 I would say a cool 60-70% of the time. I've never had a bankroll higher than half a million. Once I get in that range I usually don't get too frisky with the bets....just do a lot of 20-50K bet sizes and I always ONLY play two handed, never three and never one. I feel like I usually win a lot more like this or gives a better chance to break even (one hand wins one loses) and breaking even is free XP, free LPs lol.

Although I say I don't get frisky at those levels, I did and now have no bankroll. I bet 200K in 2 spots.....let's just say my 2 20's lost to a 12 turned 21.

    Almost to level 106.....400K away.

Although I'm almost at this level, I haven't earned near as many LPs as most, I have zero friends who play the game so I get none of those bonuses or gifts.
My total earned LPs is in the 160-170K range.

for level 58 and below. . .don't listen to the BS on BJ. The most efficient LP/bet are at 200 a hand. Yes you can level up faster, or possibly get a higher bankroll faster (or lose it much faster.) But if you are betting 1000 a hand then you need 6k per 10 lp points vs. 2.2k per 10 lp points @ 200 a hand. Unless you need a reward this week, play it smart!!!!

Started today with 60,000 chips and ran it all the way up to 3.4 million. I noticed that you get 50% of your bet added to your XP points, up to 15,000. So no matter how much you bet you can only get 15,000 XP points and it also doesn't matter how may hands you play at one time. BJ is definitely the fastest way to level up. I play basic strategy every time no matter what.

Am I the only one that feels the dealer some how sucks out and gets the winning hand?

I'm usually dealt 12s - 16s and the dealer seems to always show a face card and when I do get the rare 20 dealt, the dealer usually has blackjack. Although this seems to happen to me in real life too so maybe blackjack isn't my game!! I finally got to level 80 so I'm done with blackjack for a while.

Randy, your not alone. I think the dealer cheats and the cards are not random. :grrr:

Yes, if you are Level 57 or lower the most efficient bet on any game is 200 per hand/spin I believe (I wish I was under those rules still...lol). And yeah, if you don't have a trip coming up where you need tons of LPs, then you should avoid betting more than the minimum required to receive 1/6th of an LP per spin/hand.

For blackjack, I think I have found a betting system when playing 1 hand that seems to work (do not use in a casino). The game seems to stack the deck rather than being random. I have had (and read about others who have had) huge winning streaks, and huge loosing streaks. My theory is that they have set the game up to prevent people from going on long runs with the martingale (spelling?)... which as this isn't real money, and rewards are based on ammount played rather than chips won would be an advantage play. So I think to combat this they have introduced a "shuffle" that creates these long streaks. So when I play I start with 1 unit (1000 chips) and play that until I hit a huge loosing streak (10+ games) As soon as I win two games in a row after that 10+ loosing streak, I bet 2X... until I lose 2 in a row then drop back town to 1X. This has not always worked... but more often than not, it will keep me at a ballanced chip stack for 1000+ hands. Because the loosing streaks are very long and painful, I don't play blackjack without 80X my bet... so 80,000 chips if my base bet is 1000.
