Ok so I am going on my next trip in May for my birthday weekend. There will be 7 girls. Need some new ideas/places to go. Don't mind clubs..loved Haze when we went a year ago, always have fun at Carnaval Court. I'll be 33 and my friends are about 35-40...all love to party/gamble and just have an all around good time. I am staying at Mirage for 2 nights and Flamingo the last two nights.

    Throw some ideas my way!

Have you been downtown yet? The Fremont Experience is pretty cool and there are usually good bands playing 70's and 80's music. There are a bunch of cool cocktail lounges and a bunch of casinos to check out ina small walkable area.

we always have fun taking one night to do a little side trip in a heavily alcohol stocked limo from the strip to Golden Gate downtown to Voodoo lounge @ Rio and then back to strip.

Probably only stay an hour or so at each spot. It is a nice way to break up the strip nights without breaking the bank and might offer something slightly different from the dance clubs you are used to. We also sometimes layer in a dinner at Vic & Anthony's steakhouse in Golden Nugget. the low minimum tables and great friendly drink service at Golden Gate are a blast. And the view from Voodoo is worth a quick trip and a couple drinks.

I call it "The Gaggles Experience" and it always induces a very fun, if fuzzy memory. We have some friends who are a group of girls about your ages and they have incorporated this tradition into their annual trip, so it must be fun for them too.

I agree, a trip to Fremont St would be well worth it, its like a night club on the street, awesome way to break up the strip time.

    1. Did the limo to downtown for my daughter's birthday, and everybody loved it.

    2. Another winner was a reservation for the group for a very nice dinner at the Canal Street Grill at the
Orleans. Food, service & ambiance were super! Another advantage was that the Orleans has lots
of low limit table games & a great selection of slot & video poker. Before & after dinner, our low-
rollers had a blast. Two cabs will get you over there & back pronto, and you will save so much on
the meal that it is worth it. Reservation a must for large group.

    3. Top of Eiffel Tower at night.

    4. Piano bars. Several to choose from.

    5. Margaritaville can be fun.

    6. If you end up downtown, there are a number of fun bars. The D casino on Fremont has a new
bar named The Long Bar with good music, lots of seats & fast drink service. At night, the Golden
Gate bar & casino area can really rock with almost all being 20's -- 40's, and mostly guys.

    7. Don't forget the Forum Shops at Caesars, with spiral escalators, etc.

    8. Palms Restaurant at Forums has nice lunch special.

    9. Everybody loves Mon Ami Gabi for brunch.

    10. Don't miss the nightly fashion show at the Cosmopolitan, centered around the Chandelier Bar.

    11. "No name pizza place" at Cosmo -- if you can find it!

    12. Earl of Sandwich for late, late night "sober up" food.

    13. Cafe Bellagio when everybody wants something different at an odd hour, and you want it to
    be first class.

    14. Took my daughter & entourage to Society Cafe at Encore for lunch on arrival day. They not only
liked the food & service, but very much enjoyed a tour of Wynn/Encore.

    15. Think about pools: Mirage, Mandalay, Bellagio, Caesars & Golden Nugget.

That should give you a start, anyway, haha!

Best wishes for a fun, fun trip!

This is a pretty fun place. Last year we stayed at the Venetian and I played blackjack just outside the bourbon room. Great 80/90's music with cheesy dancers and an MC wearing a mullet Rod Stewartish wig. It's a bar with dancing but I don't think there is a cover or anything to get in. My DH went in there (he doesn't gamble much).
