Will green chip action, mostly $25-$50, get you rewarded with comps anywhere on the strip? Looking to mostly play BJ and Pai Gow Poker. Playing for comps isn't what I am after but I would like to get the most I can from my action - if anything. I usually play without player's cards but I am looking to change that.

Love the site, long time lurker. A neighbor turned me on to this site years ago (I am actually on his wifi now).

First off, you're going to get better rules at MGM properties for $25 play than anywhere else. So from that perspective, I think that's where you have to start, assuming you want to play on the strip. The downtown experts can weigh in on rules off strip.

For the best combination of BJ Rules and what you can get playing $50 a hand, I'd recommend NYNY. There's a huge difference in playing $25 a hand and $50 a hand when it comes to comps.

As a table player stay away from CET properties. Stick to the lower and middle tier MGM properties -- NYNY, Monte Carlo, Luxor, and of course Excalibur. Even a bit better places like MGM would be fine. Don't worry too much about which casino though. As long as its MGM owned.

Green chips will certianly get you a decent level of comps. I would suggest The Mirage, that's probably the nicest MGM property where you can be comped for that kind of play.

You will get comps, but in terms of maximizing your comps, it depends on what you are looking for (food? room? etc?). Generally, the opinion is that MGM properties are better for table players. So stick to the low end (Excalibur and Luxor) and you have a better chance of maximizing your comps. Also, try out some properties beyond the big two (Trop, TI). The independents may value your green action more. Then there is always Hooters. You will get free rooms and food for green action

This is very true about Hooters. Sadly they have what have to be the worst BJ rules near the strip.

I put $100 in a $1 spin and win slot and played on it for about 30 minutes at Monte Carlo, left even. They sent me an offer for 2 free nights and $50 freeplay lol.

My friend plays green chips at MB. He has received comped rooms even though he does not play big.
