Blackjack is pretty much all I play on there. Normally I could play for a long time and make it through the ups and downs with no problem. I got up to 600,000 chips by playing three hands at a time varying my bets from $3k-$10k. But latey I have just been getting KILLED in Blackjack on there. So much so that I'm beginning to think they've actually tightened it up. Lately, when I play if I get three really good hands against a dealer bust card, I'll just tell myself "here comes a 21" and no doubt, the dealer gets a 21. It literally just happened to me two out of the first three hands I've played today. If this was an actual casino I'd know it was just variance kicking my butt, but since it's just an online app and we know they've tightened up their rules recently, I'm thinking they've also tightened up the games as well. Does anyone know if the card distribution in the MyVegas BJ is random, or do you think they can modify the cards in their favor? This isn't regulated gambling by any means, so there's no reason that it has to be a fair game for the player.
No idea. The lp collection was so slow, and the coin in being halved so annoying that I stopped playing it. Eventually I'll play a little here and there again since its the only game I'd actually find fun in itself. But in terms of advancing in the game it seems pretty terrible.
This. I'm currently Level 118 and playing 10,000 a hand it takes me four hands to fill the LP mana ball. Coin-in is still halved, but maybe they can have a "Double XP" day for Stanford Wong's birthday or something.
I suppose the possibility of getting higher chips awards is an allure to playing BJ versus the slots, but 40,000 chips to get just 1 LP ball filled? I use just over 3000 on slots.
40. I'm guessing then you get much more than 10 LP's per full ball at higher levels? I'm collecting chips this week and hope to have 300,000+ by Saturday and then I'll just grind away and rise levels and fill my strip hotels.
You still get ten LPs per, but it takes a much larger amount of coin-in per level. It's kind of like an RPG in that it takes more XP (or coin-in) to go from level 40 to 41 than it does to go from 2 to 3.
Blackjack sucks for me big time. Ratio wise, i win 1 hand for every 5 hands lost. On average, my dealer always draws 19 or 20, scores blackjack a few times, but always mainly 20 !!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
It acts very similar to playing at a casino.. you win some, you lose some. Though it seems like lose some more, but its free so what can you do.
