FlaminO -need the latest!

If anyone is going to stay at FlamingO please update us on construction noise because the rates are getting up there for our May 17th trip, might consider another place like Caesars. We stayed in early August 2012 and they were driving huge concrete/metal pilings into the ground in front of IP/The Quad which they did on Saturday 8am !
Need info about what is going on now if you know.....even though our trip is not until May. Can you hear construction in the area facing the habitat?

Also is there a suite available at Flaming with two beds, ??? I plan to call the property but want to get the input of the fine members of VMB.

 

We stayed at flamingo last week for five nights and never heard any construction noise. Our room was on the 21st floor facing Caesars.

 

i believe all of the flamingo construction is done... inside and outside of the casino ...

 

What work did they do actually on the Flamingo? I didn't realize there was work being done on the Flamingo. (Booked there for May long)

 

The Quad and Linq construction is close enogh to hear it in the Flamingo.

It was a GO room with a king bed.

 

Double check for sure. I am thinking suites with two beds are very rare. So, even if they have them, they may not be available. Seems a very high number of suites in Vegas are just larger rooms, with one king bed and one bathroom.

 

Their Neopolitan suite can be had with 2 beds, according to their website. There is also a suite called the Metropolitan that you used to be able to book on the site that has 2 bedrooms - one with a king, the other with 2 queens. Do a Youtube search - I know there's at least one guest with a video tour.
