    FYI

I sent an e-mail to support two days ago asking about when Sold Out rewards would reload and was informed by BigRyan that they had been trying out different times and have recently decided to stick with 7 am PST daily (which is 9 am in my time zone, CST).

Sure enough, I was waiting on Bellagio buffet and Zarkana tix and was able to get both after the reload as promised.

AND, called on Zarkana tix and was first offered third row center...($180 tix)...knew that would be too close for the wifey (and me for that matter) so we got left orch 8th row (H)...$150 tix... so it follows they give you the best available for these show tickets. Hell, I'd be happy with balcony seats since they're free, so this is another plus in their corner!

    Reloading of sold out rewards

I have been waiting for them to reload either the Mandalay Bay or Mirage 2 night suite for 100,000 points for a few weeks and now that I have those points, I would like to use them for my trip on May. I contacted them the other day via email and I got no specific indication it would be reloaded. What is your experience with this and should I wait it out? We are going for 5 nights in May so 2-3 comped nights would be great!.. Thanks.

They are reloaded daily. The problem is, they are gone in less than 2-3 minutes, so you have to be ready to pounce at 7AM Vegas time and hope a lot too.

I got tired of trying and just went ahead and booked the 2-night regular room at the much lower loyalty points rate.

Yeah - it took me several days of checking between 10 and 10:15 AM EST to get the Mirage Suite. You really have to see it right when they're posted because it seems that they only load 5 per day and they sell out in seconds! What is frustrating is when the rewards page shows the 5 available, you fill out the form, but then it says "Sorry. Try again tomorrow", but the rewards page still shows the 5.

Anyway, we need to get one more under my wife's account, so we're still checking every day at 10!

I've been checking every day for cirque tickets I need but either they are gone at 7:00 (vegas time) or they just arent loading them. Anyone know of any tricks? Do you have to log off MyVegas and back in for them to pop up? I've just been checking in and out of the rewards section but I keep coming up scratch.

I saw the cirque tickets were reloaded this morning at around 7:15 vegas time. I have found that sometime the reload is not at exactly 7am.

This is also the first time I have seen them not "sold out" so I don't know if they are selling out really quick or if today was the first time in a while that they reloaded them.

    Reload of hotel suites

I checked this morning from 6:58 until 7:10 when I had to leave for work.. this is PST, but perhaps I should have waited longer? Can someone confirm they actually do reload the 2 night hotel suites or even the 2 night reg rooms? I don't see they are ever reloaded, but maybe I'm just already out the door. Thank you.

I have plenty of time since our trip is not until mid May, but sure would be nice to get this taken care of.
    Thanks

It looks like they reload SOME things each days. And other things it takes much longer to restock.

I camped at the site from 7:00AM - 7:10 PST, I didn't see the reload of rewards.

This was my last chance.

Hotel suites for 2 nights.. do they actually reload?

what do you mean camp out? I checked again this morning until about 7:10 again.. I have to leave for work by that time... seems I am never going to get the 2 nights at mirage or mandalay and I have the points!! If you are on the rewards do you have to hit refresh or reload it yourself or will they just appear once MyVegas has reloaded a comp? What is your feel on reloading hotel nights? do they do it that often? To me it looks like rarely.. since I have been eyeing the Mandalay Bay 2 night suite for 100,000 for about 3 weeks now and it's always sold out. Frustrating! I mean I'll even take 2 nights in a regular Mandalay room but I have never seen those.

Actually, you should be very happy that you have not been able to redeem your points yet - the rewards are only good for 90 days once they have been redeemed. Let's say you went on the computer this morning (January 31st)and the hotel had opened up and you were finally able to redeem the offer - 90 days from today is May 1st. You would then have to use the offer by May 1st or you would have basically thrown away your 100,000 points.

Depending on when in May you are going, you should count 90 days backward from the last day of your trip to give you a start date as to when you should begin trying to cash in your points for a room or whatever other offers you wish to take advantage of.

Okay, 1st they have been reloading the 2 night suites stays most every morning around 7am Vegas. This morning was a little later but did reload.

Second, you can purchase a reward now for a room or show and then book with in 90 days. Let me clarify, you have to call and book the room or show within 90 days but your stay does not have to be within 90 days. An example, I already have a room booked for August.

That is good to know - the rules are not really clear and I did not want the poster to lose all those points! Does that work with dining rewards too? You have to give them some notice, but if you know you want to eat at the Bellagio buffet on August 5th, can you redeem now and reserve for August 5th? The whole thing is confusing, especially since they keep changing the rules.

The only rewards that work this way are the rooms and shows. Everything else you actually go to the Mlife desk at the casino to redeem. So the 90 day theory does apply. Whenever your trip is you would want to wait until you are within 90 days to purchase a food reward. Hope that helps!
