Sometimes there is nothing like a good hotdog for a quick lunch in between casino visits. I actually liked(and my stomach didn't mind) the footlongs they used to have at Slots A Fun. I heard they no longer have them, and it since has been replaced by a Nathans. I can do Nathan's anywhere, is there a good place for a decent sized hot dog left on the strip?

The ones at Casino Royal are AMAZING!!!

This does assume you had at least 12 drinks within the previous 5 hours. I don't remember exactly what was good about it, but it was AMAZING!!!!

Inside Bill's near the sportsbook there is a hot dog cart and they were pretty good for a quick fix.

Second for the dogs inside Bill's sportsbook. Not sure, though, if that cart is still up and running.

There is a Pink's located inside Planet Hollywood and it's GREAT IMHO!!! They've been serving hot-dogs for like 70 years or something (not at this location) and know how to do it. Like most well-established "brands" though has it's detractors, you know the "contrarians" who just have to swim against the current.

Bills will be closed by the time I get there in March. Where exactly is the Stage Door? I'll have to give Pinks a try as I'll do some gambling at Planet Hollywood.

Stage Door is on Flamingo at Audrie. If you are at Bills or Ballys, start walking on Flamingo towards Ellis Island...about half way there SD is on left(north side of Flamingo). From Bills it is a 5 minute walk.

My fav's are technically on the strip, but not what anyone would call the strip at the South Point. At 75 cents for a quality dog with sauerkraut and all the fixin's you can't go wrong!

the dogs at casino royale are footlongs or 10" or whatever passes for a footlong nowadays. They are really skiiny and pre made about 2 days ago.

ok for what you pay for them I think its 1.99.

The dog and beer special at the stagedoor, $2.50 is outstanding.

The hot dog is big and fat and actually, for a roller, damn tasty.

That is hands down the best dog on the strip. or as close to the strip to still qualify.

if you want to eat a $8 hot dog then you can go to pinks but thats doesnt mean it will be better then the stagedoor.

Thanks cousineddie. I didn't think I could truly testify to how good the dogs at stage door are since I'm usually pretty well in my cups by the time we get there, but they are frig'in awesome then.

I agree completely. Ate at Pinks once and was very underwhelmed. Same with Nathans. Thought Pinks was just ok and not at all worth the price. And I am not just "contrarian", I just didn't think it was anything special at all.

Pink's has been mentioned. Also, Gordan Ramsey's new place BurGR @ PH is supposed to have a pretty good hot dog.
