Just literally booked my next trip to Vegas:drunk:

I cant wait as it's been a really tough year (well 2012 was) and the person I'm going with this time is a new "someone special" who has never been before.

Got the venetian for €1800 for 5 nights inc flights from Dub-Lon-Vegas & return.

Well happy with that in fairness.

The 100% Irish are in town for Paddy's day :nworthy:

Just thought I'd share my good news with fellow Vegas lovers:beer:

See you all when we cross the pond.

    Yeah thanks folks!

Nothing like booking a Vegas trip.

1st time staying in the Venetian but I always loved walking through it. Will be my 11th visit in 4 years and have stayed in 9 different hotels with this one being the best/most expensive. I had the Bellagio at the exact same price but just preferred the suite option rather than the basic room at the Bellagio.

Anyway I presume St Paddy's day is a big deal over in Vegas???

anyone been before & what am I likely to expect compared to all my other visits from a variety of different months I have been.

I know its only one day but we tend to make the week of it on the Emerald Isle :Þ

St. Paddy's Day is huge all over the U.S. since a lot of the people here are Irish, and an even larger majority of the "drinkers".

My wife is in fact 100% Irish, which leads me to ask the following questions:

What is your policy on returns, and do you have much space in your baggage for the flight back?:evillaugh

    J/K (maybe):wink2:

    Have a great trip!

Venetian is a nice hotel. Room is nicer than Bellagio. But, just to be clear, it is not a true suite. Larger than normal room with great couch, etc. But, it is one room. Though some Vegas people will argue, unless there is a separate door to the bedroom, it is not a suite.

Strictly no returns. If you have tried it on you're stuck with it pal:Þ

Sorry yeah I suppose my "Suite" remark may be misleading but thankfully not for me. I saw the virtual room on the site and it looks lovely. Definitely the best standard room I have ever stayed in - but nothing will beat the end of corridor suite I had on the top floor of the MGM:nworthy:
