    My Trip Report

Just got back from 3 nights in Vegas. One of the craziest trips I ever had. I post this on another site as well so feel free to read it on my site. Lots of pictures, and if you were ever curious what LV looks like for the Holidays I took a ton of pictures.

I'll reply to any comments unless you want to make fun of the Cubs! Its not my fault, I grew up across from the ball park.

I would never make fun of a Cubs fan. I'm a Red Sox fan and never thought I'd see them win two World Series.
You never know...Or maybe you do. :evillaugh

I feel your pain about someone winning the 17 mil while you were there.
Nice Christmas present for them, anyway.

Great photos. Really enjoyed them. Especially the humping polar bears.

Thanks for taking the time to share your report, Grid.

Great trip report! Sounds like the gambling gods were frowning on both of us. I took an epic beatdown that rivaled the high of my Oct trip.:cry: Next TR though more pictures of your attractive wife. :evillaugh

Wish I would have had the smarts to move around more. BTW that Napolean Machine at Harrahs got me for $120.00 too!

Thanks for a great read and all the photos.

And the moral of the story is...if you are in a hole just keep digging. There is bound to be gold down there somewhere. That's some serious low stakes degeneracy there!

WOW! I was hurting right along with you! I have had days where I can't seem to lose fast enough to pay for someone else's comped suite! Glad that your luck turned around for you. It was probably the ball cap. Because the Morgan would never let you down. Thanks for sharing the link to your site!

Exactly! The hat nixed the Morgan! If the Morgan stopped working I might as well stop gambling all together!

Thanx for all the kind words gang, I know you have all been here before. Except Josie, she always win!

Grid, thank you for posting another great TR. I love reading your blogs, photos and website, which are really informative and joyful! :nworthy:

I have read many traveler complaints regarding Spirit's flight constantly delays and arrives at Vegas in the wee hours (i.e., the early morning of the next day). It really sucks, doesn't it!

Your room has the stunning strip view. Did you do the $20 trick upon check-in?

MLife shouldn't play such a dirty trick on you. The Platinum Member shall get free tickets to visit MB's Shark Reef. Am I right?

I was at Vegas for a whole week (Dec 8 thru 14) and attended some NFR activities with friends. There are thousands and thousands of cowboys and cowgirls all over Vegas. Although I stayed at Aria, I did minimal gambling at any MLife properties. I went to off strip casinos and won decent monies at Sam's Town and South Point. If you play video poker games, these two nice local casinos are hidden gems. I hit several straight flushes and couple dozens of 4-OAKs. It's nice to take casino monies home.

Hope that we can meet up in our future trips in 2013. You and your wife are good-looking couple!

Great report... thanks for sharing! I have a 1878 CC Morgan set in a money-clip. Never thought of it as good luck, but I'm still here and I've had some "major-league" rough nights in my time, so I guess it is!!!

I dumped $1100 winning $486 - so I know just how bad those progressives can be!!! Did rack up a ton of points......whoopee.

I hadn't heard about the guy cutting traffic & getting hit. Heard about the Excal & the $17 Million though.

I always heard it was an old superstition to carry one for luck. So I started doing it, made my kid brother do and and I bought my dad one for X-Mas.
