Sounds like a perfect football weather day. Highs in the low 40s and some sun.

The city of Green Bay runs their buses free on game day, we've got a hotel for Sunday night, so no worries about driving 100 miles back home:drunk:

The line is Pack over Cardinals by 11.

A little background...we used to have season tickets for the 3 games (1 pre, 2 regular) the Packers played in Milwaukee at the old County Stadium, (since the 40s, I think) when the team sucked back in the 70s & 80s.. Mid 90s they started winning on a consistent basis and in 2001 (iirc) they stopped playing in Milwaukee and we were given the opportunity to purchase season tickets for 3 games at Lambeau. Same deal 1 pre-season, two regular. Always the 2 and 5th home regular games.

Depending on who the opponent is, we sometimes sell one of the regular season games and always try and sell the August pre-season game. If we're lucky, we get face value for the preseason game.

This year the game we sold on eBay was vs. Da Bears on Thursday night football. Our $80 tickets sold for $350 each. Perfect-airfare to Vegas!

BTW the current waiting list for season tickets has 96,000 names and current wait on the bottom is estimated at 30+ years.

I made my pilgrimage to Lambaeu a couple a years ago to see my Dolphins. The Phins won that game, but the Pack got the last laugh as Superbowl champions.

(Side Note: I was surprised how many Dolphin fans were at that game. I bet the drunk Green Bay fan in fornt of me $5 that the Dolphins would win the game and he was pissed when he had to pay up!)

The Packers last game at Milwaukee County Stadium was in 1994 against the Falcons... Brett Favre took the ball himself and dove into end zone in the last few seconds of the game.

Not that I was there and remember that or anything

Stopping at Oneida Casino while in town?

I looked back in my records and see I got things mixed up. 2001 is the year we had to pay the seat license fee. $1,200 for the two seats. Hard to believe we haven't been to a game in MKE since 1994.

No Indian casino for us, that's what Vegas is for.:evillaugh Staying at the Clarion on Main St, in downtown GB. Plenty of food & drink options w/o needing the car.:drunk:
