Mrs. Flusher has some bets on the playoffs including the Stanley Cup winner. What happens to these bets if the season tanks? Are they forfeit or refunded or what?

the bet would be no action and you can turn in the ticket for a refund. but you couldn't do that until the season is actually completely canceled.

Didn't they cancel the entire season a few years ago because of a labor dispute and no one noticed.:wink2:

So I guess this is confirmation that the last labor dispute did in fact end. I hadn't noticed.

They did, and some people noticed, and then they tried real hard and made an extra billion a year a few years down the road.

And now they are squabbling over that.

    Fuck hockey, now.

Skadoo, it saddens me that now there is no point in giving you one of my super-lucky Gordie Howe hockey cards.

I'll still buy you liquor though.

    Lol, Mr. Hockey?

Not a joke, RF. my bestie's kid (he's six) met Gordie at a meet and greet. Apparently he was quite taken with the little guy..

You know what, that's very true. I typically skip the season and just watch the playoffs.

I also skip the season and watch the playoffs IF a California team is playing.
