I am Noir wth 1,182,000 Tier Credits. I just stayed 3 nights in a basic room. Earned 165,000 tier credits, and $418 in express comps during the 3 nights. I received no freeplay or any food credit. I stay at Bellagio once a month for 3 nights, 10 months a year. I only receive a free room, nothing else. When I asked about any comps, I was told that I had $742 in express comps from this trip and the last that I could apply. My so-called host has never given me any comps. I hear about people getting welcome gifts, birthday offers, etc. I asked about tickets to "O" once, and I was asked for my credit card number to pay for them. I buy my host small gifts like wine and candy, and I never receive a thank you. Am I not playing enough for anything beyond the free room? These are accurate numbers and I just need to know if I should be getting better offers. Please tell me what my estimated coin in was, and if I am just wrong and don't deserve anything more than the free room. Should I ask for a new host? Thanks for your help.

I don't know that grinding out points to hit NIOR will get you RFB. If your average $ isn't up to that limit points really don't do anything for you. Are you table games or slots? In the long run if you want anything from a casino you have to ask, and the only person you should bother asking is a host directly, not the players club.

on your last trip your theo was $3215 and you earned $868 in primary comps in addition to your ECs. $300 went to cover the room for 3 nights (a standard room at the B comps at $100/night). that should have left $568 to cover F&B charges.

but the way they are instructed to do things these days, they have to use up all your ECs before they will use the primary comps. so if you had $1200 in F&B charges, they would take the $700 in ECs and also take off $500 in primary comps and cover it all. but if you don't want to use your ECs, they won't use the primary comps. they are doing this to try to clear up large ECs balances from the books.

however, i think that $1000 theo per day should get you a suite or at least a standard room and some F&B comped upfront on your next trip. do you have a host? if not, you should hook up with one as that will be much better for you since you come so frequently.

At 165,000 for a trip with a free room at Bellagio I would not expect them to do more than have you use your express comps.
My guess is if you were at Mirage,MGM or lower you might get some food comps.
Being Noir over 10 trips a year will not get you anything besides a line pass.

Thank you for your feedback. I never try to abuse any free offers, but I do have a host that has never given me anything in the last 6 years I have been staying there. I don't have very high dining bills, because I always have to pay. I know it is the Bellagio, and I love staying there, but I just feel I should receive a little extra. I have asked, and it never happens from my host.

Your play exactly mirrors my play from my last 3-night stay at Bellagio. I felt I was fairly treated that trip with $300 freeplay, room, and food/beverage covered by a similar amount of express comps to what you earned.

I would think the removal of the freeplay and reduction of the rate of earning express comps would lower the deal to an a poor value. Its stil doable if you are getting the free room, whereas my fall offers have been reduced to $60 freeplay and $100/night. With the addition of the reduced express comp earning rate, I am done with Bellagio.

If im going to pay, im going to stay at Wynn or Cosmo. in my opinion abellagio is not competitive in service with those properties

i'm not sure where you get that idea as there are people that earn 30k points a trip getting free room offers from the B with some FP and F&B. the math says that he should get either a suite or some F&B and he's definitely getting lowballed by his host.

If that's consistently the play you are giving them, then you should at least be getting some free play and food - up front.

That level of play has historically been an offer of room, sometimes a suite, $300-$500 freeply and $150-$450 food. That's what I've gotten over past few years. It seems like they have made a conscious decision to reduce comp expenses by giving lower upfront offers. I feel like they will try to lowball on backend comps as well. I wouldn't trust mgms with a trip ever again....how long before they quit honoring reserved offers like Palazzo did? No reason to take a chance when so many offers are out there. Unless you have a solid host taking care of you like a lot of the guys who are comp experts here on the board.

I concur with Shifter that you're not getting what you could based on this amount of play.

My tier credits and ECs earned (on slots) per trip are similar to yours, and I am in Vegas for almost as many trips per year. I know you said you prefer Bellagio, but when I stay at NYNY or Mirage, I always get a suite, $300+ in fp and some up-front F&B. Others on this board have said similar things about their comps from Monte Carlo and MGM. Maybe it's time to stay at least once at another mLife property and see if that motivates your Bellagio host?

I agree 100% with shifter and Imondun.

My play is comparable to yours and I'm getting a limo from the airport, free room (tower suite at Wynn and Sky Suite at Aria) and food and beverage up to $300 per day at both Wynn and Aria. You're getting totally hosed. Although, I've had that same experience at Bellagio which is why I don't play there anymore. We also have a $20K LOC at both Wynn and Aria (and Bellagio, actually), but get so much more at the other two hotels than at Bellagio. Time to move to a new hotel or get a better host.

I'd say it's time to say "no more Mr Nice Guy"....couldn't help myself given that's your screen name.......

I didn't think 55K tier points a day at B would get more than that.
Shifter knows the system better than I do.
My last stay at Bellagio where I earned more than that under the old system got me a mini suite with no F+B backend. The host actually chided me for asking for some F+B.

55k TCs is about $1000 in theo, which should get you $400 in comps. a Salone Suite should only comp at about $300, which should leave another $100 per day for F&B. so if you did even more than 55k per day and didn't get any F&B, you got jobbed.

however, i think the TCs were earned at a higher rate under the old players club system. wasn't it like 1.5x as much? so that many TCs back then might have been only $667 in theo which would be only $265 in comps and that's why you didn't get any F&B.

    Thanks Shifter.
I do appreciate your understanding of theo calculations.I don't think my play is that much different now than it was at Bellagio a couple years ago.
I have been averaging about 90K-100K TCs a day.
I was going by what I was told and what I was not given by the host.
So my understanding was if my play did not get anything more I would not think the OP would.
That being said,I had to deal with another host when I checked out.He was a new host who had been promoted from being a floorman.
I should have called my host when he returned but I was so pissed I just said I'm done with the place and moved on.

that will kill you every time. hosts on duty do absolutely nothing for you. they are the lowest of the low level hosts and don't know you at all, so they have no interest in rocking the boat in any way. they will never give you extra comps at the end in proportion to what you really deserve. if your host isn't around when you checkout, just call him a day or 2 after you get home and have him back out the charges then.

my host was out of the country a couple of trips ago and unreachable by cell phone, so he told me to talk to this other host when i left to get everything cleaned up. i called that other host and he did absolutely nothing for me. totally pissed me off since i had a terrible trip and lost a ton and then he said i have to come out of pocket for some F&B charges also. i told my host when he got back that if i ever have to deal with a host on duty again, i'm never coming back and i was dead serious.

yep, he got the memo. this last trip he said he was going to be out of town again and i was like ... uhhhhh ... but he was quick to reassure me he'd be available by cell phone at any time and i wouldn't have to deal with any other host. :)

Hope someone can help me out as well.

    In August, I earned 362,810 TC's, and my husband earned 486,362 TC's.
My total TC is 1,1129,704, his 1,402,962. We are linked, but have differenct total TC's, same exp comps, and HGS points.

So based on our earned TC, I should have a comp of approx $2638 and he should have approx $3536. Is this correct? We play 100% slots, no VP. $5/10/25 slots, and some $1 video, like cleopatra/wolf run, I dont think any of those are specialty. My understanding of specialty are SITC/Hangover/Monopoly/WOZ.. etc

TCs can't be redeemed for comps, they're only for determining your tier. when you earn TCs, you also earn ECs that can be used for comps. however many ECs it shows in your account is how many you have. they are linked so either of you can use them.
