I am fortunate and usually able to get five days comped at HET properties if I book early enough. Now however I have a couple of friends that have decided at the last minute that they are going too.

Does anyone know how I might be able to get them a room either comped or at a greatly reduced rate? I will be staying at the Flamingo.

Not sure what level of play you are at, but hosts sometimes can get a second room at a good rate. Also, google FRIENDS AND FAMILY HARRAHS and you might find something. Have them check Facebook as well.

Low roller. No host but I like the Google & Facebook idea. Will try it.

All of the CET properties have the "Plan Ahead and Save" promotion still going on and the prices are better than the friends and family rate.

You pay the full deposit up front - but its still refundable up to 72 hours.

This scenario just came up with me.
Relatives wanted to tag along for our Sept. trip at the last minute. They had low roller previous play so were not able to get anything comped. I checked with casino marketing and got no real help. Just offered the casino rate.
I was able to get a much better rate just punching in different promo codes from LVA.

Just try them all, it's amazing the different rates you get for what seemingly looks likes the same room for the same dates.

If you have a host, call him/her. They will almost always give your friends a casino rate. I've done it many, many times.

Call the hotel and ask to get friend and family rates. I did this for my upcoming trip and got 3 additional rooms at Ballys for roughly $45 per night for my friends (weekends).

I've checked on a previous trip to get a friend and family rate and they only offered a $20 discount so I guess it changes depending on s&d.

Call casino marketing and ask if there's anything they can do. At the very least, you should be able to get them the casino rate, which is generally a lot less than booking direct.

Yeah, you don't need a host... just call and do this. If you are a gambler all the CET and MGM properties have "friends and family" discounts available.
