Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Brazilian Steakhouse?

My wife wants to eat at one during our October trip. Pampas gets mixed reviews and I'm not sure of any others..

    Thanks for the help

Fogo De Chao... One of the best in the business. Pampas often has dried out selections... been twice, and there won't be a third. Texas De Brazil is good, but Fogo De Chao seems to be a step up everywhere i've visited.

Ate at Pampas 2 years ago. It was good but not great. The seafood was not worth the extra cost.

    Carnivore's dream

Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao are both excellent and they will put you in a meat coma!

Aw man. I got a groupon for Pampas and now I see you guys trashing it. But I have never been to a Brazilian steakhouse so maybe the novelty of it all will make the experience enjoyable.

It isn't bad or terrible, it is just a you get what you pay for thing.

The time I went to Pampas they simply had more of the cheaper meat selections. Fogo de Chao just had more premium cuts of meat. You obviously pay for it though. I think it is ~45/person at Fogo and 30 or under/person at Pampas.

Enjoy your meal though. If you happen to like it and want to spend $60+/person next time, you may want to check out Fogo. They are all basically the same thing, it just depends how much you want to pay for the meat selection. I've heard good things about Samba as well although I've never been there.

There is a Fogo de Chao on Flamingo, a couple of blocks east of the Strip. It should be close to Lawry's Prime Rib. I haven't dined at the Vegas location, but have enjoyed some excellent meals at their restaurant in Minneapolis....great food, great wine list and very attentive service.

I've been to Samba a few times and I've enjoyed it every single time. I wouldn't hesitate to go there.
