I was at the El Cortez this week and we played $3 craps with 10X odds. The roulette tables were 25ยข with $1 minimum. Plenty of $5 minimum blackjack with single and double decks and they all paid 3/2.

Anyone else think it would be a good idea for me to add Casino's and limits in the original post so people could check them prior to their trip, and then give us an update when they return? (if there needs to be a change)

After looking closer, I seems I can't edit my post. Maybe I don't have enough posts on this board to do that.

EDIT: I can now edit my original post.

That would be very hard to keep updated. Most casinos change their limits a couple of times each day depending on many different factors.

Fremont has a regular $3 craps alongside a $5 table. El Co seems to always have a $3 and $5 going. The .25 roulette and is cheap enough to get me to buy in for 20 bucks.

I will checking our the Jokers Wild craps table where the minimum is $1.

I've only seen one $3 craps table at Casino Royale and was actually pretty tough to find a spot to play.

I'm about as low as they go and pretty much stick to El Co and MSS.

I'm hoping Joker's Wild isn't a complete S-hole because $1 craps sounds fun to waste a few hours.

Sorry, I wasn't clear on that. I want to keep a list of Casinos that offer low limit tables (maybe during weekdays) But at least us low rollers would know where to check first when looking for a $3 craps table.

One of the reasons I don't play craps much any more is due to the limits. I learned how to play at the Westward Ho years ago, when they had a $3 table. Now a days when you walk through the bigger strip casinos, you are lucky to find anything under $10.

I usually have to make a trip downtown or to Slots O Fun to find more affordable table limits.

I stayed in Bally's last month and saw a $5 min craps table 3-4-5x odds but that was at 7 or 8 in the morning. Surprisingly when I went to the same table at 5 in the morning it was $10 min lol

Maybe they thought the drunk club goers would play at the $10 limit. But, by 8am all of them have passed out, so it was safe to lower the limits.

the $5 craps on the strip is usually during the dead times on the strip. i remember even seeing a $5 table at the cosmo of all places. Of course it was at 5 in the morning with only 1-2 people playing. The minute the tables start filling up the limits will go up...hopefully you find a place that grandfather's your bids as some casinos now aren't allowing that

It looks like I now have the ability to edit my original post. I will start adding casinos/games/minimums as people post them here.

Sad to say, Slots A Fun no longer has table games, it's just a slots-only annex to Circus Circus now.

I used to have so much fun on their crap table. Play the game all the while facing the street and watch everybody walk by.

    Downtown:

Cal, MSS, 4queens, Binions, LVC, GG

All have $5 minimum craps tables and $5 minimum bj tables most of the day and night. MSS sometimes have $3 minimum craps table during the early morning but lately they all have been $5, even in the early morning.

    Gold Spike:
No craps table or roulette table. bj tables usually $5 at night.

GN usually higher minimums for all games.

Plaza and D, not confirmed but I think $5 minimum craps and bj.

Snot, maybe you should also mention the times of the day that the casinos have lower limits (24 hours a day, etc.), a number of strip places have low limit tables but only during certain times of the day. If you just say that x casino has $3 craps someone reading this might go there and be disappointed if the limits were higher later in the day.

As another poster mentioned, the minimums for some casinos change at certain times of the day.

Also note that sometimes casinos raise their minimums if the tables get too full. Even downtown they will raise the minimums if all the tables get too full.

Note: at the Fremont they usually have 1 crap table that has $3 minimums, the other tables are $5 minimum.

Thanks for all the great info. I agree, Casino's reserve the right to change limits hourly if they want.

I will try to include notes that mention early morning hours or 24hrs.

I really like playing craps at Margarittaville. You can find a $5 table longer than most places on the strip, the dealers are all friendly and the cocktail service is fantastic...in more ways than one!

Just to add, along with $5 craps they offered $10/$15 3/2 blackjack and $1chip/$10 minimum roulette.
