If you were going to use the LVA Palms 50% coupon, but were not staying there, what would you use it for? N9NE?

Yeah, that looks very nice. The menu on the website doesn't list prices...any idea what the $$$ would be like?

Now that Garduno's is closing, I am going to have a tough time next month. Overpriced Chinese or sub-par buffet???

    Garduno's closing???

Do you know when Garduno's is closing?? That is big time bad news!! We try to make sure we are there on Sundays for their Margarita brunch and will be there in August. Hopefully it will still be open then...

I ate at Garduno's last week and no one is being told anything - both my server and the hostess said that they think it is closing in September, but are not sure.

My guess is that if The Palms wants the sports bar that is replacing Gardunos to open by December, it will have to close sooner rather than later. I am so upset over this place closing - it was a must-do every trip. I am hoping it is still open through September so I can eat there one last time.

I agree, I love that place! We are going 8/20-23 and staying at the Palms. I'm praying they are open and I will enjoy my last meal there.

I can see why they want the sports bar. You can see all the action by the pool without having to deal with the heat. I can picture a bunch of older men just drooling sitting by the window. I'm sure it will be for the wing's and not the view.

    :)

Used mine at Nove back in January. I think with tip it cost for 2 people $75 after the coupon. That is without wine. We had flat water which was $8 a bottle.
It was one of the best meals my wife and I have had in Vegas.

I was just at Garduno's last month and management was not telling anyone a thing - all of the workers I asked said that they thought it was closing sometime in September but did not know for sure.

I am going back three weeks from Friday. I am hoping Garduno's is still open at that time and I will try to find out if anyone there has a better timeline of when it is closing. I will say this - from everything I have read, The Palms wants the new Sports Bar that is replacing Garduno's to be open by the end of December, so I can't imagine that it will still be up and running as late as October, as they have to do all the construction on the new place.

We had dinner at Garduno's on August 7th, obviously it is still open. I chatted with the hostess about the pending closure and she said problems existed with the venue that wished to take over Garduno's space. Who knows if this is simple rumor or if it is based upon truth. One thing she seemed certain, they have not been given a specific closure date.

The PALMS just isn't what it used to be but...such is Vegas. Nothing is
meant to last forever. George Jr. has given up so much control...
To me, the PALMS now joins the good ol' days of...
    RIO and MARNELL...PALMS and MALOOF.

Hard to argue with you there. If it wasn't for the annoying clubbers, would've been almost no one there when we stopped in. In the early 2000's I remember Palms and Hard Rock being two of the most fun places to visit. Now, not worth the travel IMO. Garduno's was open when we were there for those interested.
