What poker rooms are just plainly terrible? By this I mean: Bad/No comps, terrible seats/tables, far away from the restrooms, etc.

What poker rooms do you really just CRINGE at even thinking about going to drop your hard earned cash at the table?

    Fire away!

Joker's Wild in Henderson. Four crappy tables in a dark corner.

Was looking for a cheap tournament (my first mistake, I guess) and went to Joker's Wild for their Saturday tournament that cost $28. As soon as I was seated, I wondered what I had gotten into. Definitely a locals place... I felt like I was in an unwelcome dungeon.

    Last year

played 2/4L at Excalibur--yuk. Area in middle of dark casino, no drink service, bad game. A friend had done well here...not my cup of tea.
Otherwise any rooms I avoid have to do w/ the play I encountered there...most are near restrooms, have good management & dealers, good cocktail service.

I'm not a fan of the Luxor room. I haven't played there in about 7 years. I'm not sure if it's improved too much over the past few years though.

Luxor is just as bad, I figured when I heard that Bruce Buffer was going to be invloved it would be something great, then I got there and the first thought was WTF really.

Any room that is smoking is in my BAD category, like Boulder Station.

    Also bad:
    Excalibur
Bellagio ~ As I have tried to play there once and waited 30 minutes - 1 hr for a seat, and both times they had enough names to open a new 1/2 table. Never again.

Two rooms I would call "bad" were it not for the fact that I normally do very well playing there.
(Does that make me forgive layout, noise, poor seats? You bet'cha!)
    Flamingo
    Bally's

The slots in proximity to Excalibur's poker room are so loud.

Imperial Palace's poker corner (thats what it is, basically) was horrible the night I went. Long wait to get on a bad table.

I understand why Booker doesn't like Bellagio, they just treat customer's badly if they are not famous. But I still go there because it's a popular room. aybe things have changed since Aria has become so popular.

Hit the nail right on the head there John! Thats why I never play in Bellagio anymore and would choose most other poker rooms over it, ive been twice and on the 2 occasions i felt like i was just being an inconvenience to them! Total opposite at Aria, they couldn't have been more welcoming, much newer and better room in Aria in my opinion anyway!

Lord that is an understatement to say the least, Luxors is bad enough with the way they have the damn slots right outside the entry but Excals slots just seem to be turned to max volume. They add insult to injury with that setup, nearly like they want to discourage Poker play completely. Now that I think about it they might, then they could put another Beer Pong setup out.
