Hello I am a new member and I just had a couple questions.

I recently got DIAD because I became an over night compulsive gambler. They started giving me offers through total rewards. I have 3 offers for $500 free play in the month of August. So let's say I book all 3 offers and go there and only play the $500 and leave. Will they rescind my next 2 offers?

No they wont rescind the current offers but they might cut down your future offers.

Based on your history, would you REALLY leave after playing the $500?

Bottom line, you got those offers because your ADT is now very high. They feel that giving you $500 freeplay will result in your playing thousands more.

Stopping by to play ONLY the freeplay will seriously dilute your ADT and future offers. Even playing a $100 or so will still result in your daily average dropping.

All depends on what your future plans may be.

Ah I forgot to mention that I don't mind if my offers dry up. I only play table games and I thought the switch to mlife would be a better fit for me. Thanks for your reply responses. I'll claim my 500$ per trip and move to bellagio lol

If you have no interest in continuing your play at CET properties, then YES, this is a smart way to use your comps. You'll be required to 'stay' at the property to claim the offer and you'll need 2 days between offers if you are trying to do a back-to-back. You'll either need to pay casino rate or stay somewhere else for those two nights in between.

As others have stated, it will kill your ADT and will kill your offers going forward. You'll still have Diamond through the end of March 2013 regardless of what you do. The 'ding' to your ADT by only playing the free play will 'fall off' after 18 months.

I actually hit DIAD and then 11k points. So technically i'll have diamond until 2014 (at least that's what the pitboss told me). GolferTrav are you saying that I could potentially have another 18 months of 'free plays' even after taking these hits to my ADT?

Freeplay offers will dry up with a month or two if you do some low plays. It is NOT tied to being Diamond at all. Offers are continually tied to ADT. Okay, from time to time they might throw a random big carrot out there to get you back.

Yes, you will have Diamond through March of 2014 then if you hit the 11,000 mark. No, you won't get 18 months of 'free play' offers like the $500 you're getting now. As nostresshere stated, those offers will dry up pretty quick after you shaft them by using them but not playing anything more.

What I mean by the 18 months is that, with their system, it will take 18 months for them to 'forget' that you shafted them. Your offers are based on a rolling 18 month ADT (among other things). Let's say, for example, that your current Average Daily Theoretical is $10,000 (for simplicity of math) and you played that one day where you got DIAD. Now you book an offer to claim the $500, for only one night, and don't play anything above the $500, your ADT is $0. BOOM, now your average ADT is $5,000. If you do it again later in the month, you'll bring your average down to $3,333. It'll take 18 months for those zeros to clear out of your average (and your $10,000 will be gone by then too).

Of course, if you make a handful of visits at $0, then your ADT will close to zero. And the offers, even after 18 months will be zip.

Correct. But just so the OP knows, not visiting won't hurt his ADT. It will be the trips where he gets 'on the radar' that will reduce it, whether that's by taking a free play offer, a free night in the hotel or putting $5 through a slot. (nostresshere, I know you know these things... just want to make sure the OP does too).
