Typically when you are playing enough to have a host, they will approach you or contact you. It's not unusual for people to have a host approach them on the floor while playing once they reach a certain level of play. I can tell by what you said in your opening post for the amount of play you have in LV that you will not qualify for a host, especially if you're not even getting free weekends at any properties now. You didn't mention your level of play at your local casino, but if it is anything like your play in LV, you will not qualify to have a host assigned to you. (and when I say "qualify", that's really a level left up to that individual property and also even more up to the hosts who work there)
If some of your offers are discounted vs. free - then your play level is probably not high enough. A few tips to get better offers. If you are playing slots or vp, try putting all your play on ONE card number. Also, be careful about short play days, especially at CET. Stopping in to play $50 is going to cause more hurt than gain.
