I'm arriving in two days (yay)

One of my favorites is a machine ($1) called Hundred or Nothing. I know of one at NYNY. Has anyone seen them elsewhere?

    Cheers
    S

P.s. yes it's boring as **** but it's been pretty good to me :D

I feel like I've seen one at Caesar's, but it was a long time ago.

Based on the above I would say you are being charged by the casino 6.67 percent to gamble at that machine. That casino lets me play at their craps table for only a 0.48 percent charge.

Yes, we know. I did not see where anybody asked what the house edge was.

I've seen one at Bellagio many moons ago. It was on the outside so if you were walking the edge of the casino you would see it. It was by the buffet I think. This was a very long time ago so it may be gone.

I always threw a $20 in this thing and it never failed to give me the franklin.

I remember 2 of these by the coffee stand at the Hilton, now the LVH.
    Never played but looked interesting.
    Good luck

I have played these a few times, but they are rare and hard to find. Come to think about, the ones I have seen rarely have anyone playing.

Though all slot machines have a hold in the 10% (+/-) range, these machines have to pay out more often. After all, the "jackpot" is $100. With a 10% hold or HA, it would mean that for every ROUGHLY $110 put in, it will pay back $100.

Of course, you could just as well put $500 in and get nothing, and then watch somebody else put $5 in and hit it 5 times in a row.

(numbers are not meant to be exact, but you get the idea)

I have never seen this machine before. Is it really "put in coins, win $0 or $100"? Lather, rinse, repeat?

yes the payout was $100 or nothing on each spin. I don't know if this was bad to play for the odds but I always enjoyed the concept. I never lost so I was lucky.

I looked all over Vegas for these when I was there. I went to Blackhawk the week before and they had a $5 version. Hit on it 6 times and have been hooked ever since. The only one I found was at the Bellagio but it was a $25/$50/$100/$200 machine. It's located by the buffet. I read elsewhere that Excalibur used to have a bank of these.

Where is the one located ay NYNY?

Walk along the restaurants to Il Fornaio. Right past it is a little cigar stand. The machine should roughly be across from there grouped with other machines.

Maybe I should try to look for one of these machines when I am in Vegas next. If this just a 3 reel? 5 reel?

3 reel, red seven. Either 7s line up and $100 bucks or nothing. Just 1 credit ($1) per spin.

They really upped the minimum on that Bellagio one. I used to play that one for a buck.

Wow, they sure did. I was so excited to finally find one and saw the amounts:cry: I had to try one time. Got the first seven to light up and thought no way $2,500! Sadly the last 2 were blanks. Fun rush for that kind of payout though.

    Thanks all

The one in NYNY is located near the Century elevators. Years ago they had six now its just the one. Excalibur got rid of theirs a couple of years ago. Before they got rid of them, I played a $5 and hit the sevens three times!

Not sure if I have the nerve to try the $25 at Bellagio! Sure would be fun though.
