I'm in search of between 4-8...anyone have any for sale?

I was going to buy some off eBay, but I might as well support the local folks of the VMB.

Just watch out if you end up on Ebay. Coupons w/o an expiration date are no longer accepted.
I also saw someone trying to sell 8 tix, but he magic markered out his FF #. I wonder if those would be accepted on the flight?

I've seen it fairly often that people black out the FF# on the picture, but not the coupons.

One free drink on SWA if you're flying on 6/17 or 6/18 in honor of Fathers Day.

This has been brought up several times and it seems at most airports the TSA doesn't care if they are in the 1 quart baggie. It's the airlines that have a problem with it since you are cutting into their revenue and you need to be discrete in pouring your own.
I know we have at least one flight attendant as a board member, maybe he'll chime in.

we have a goofy schedule this trip. i'm flying in on thursday (should arrive around 11pm), and my fiance should be arriving on friday night sometime. we're staying with my dad until sunday, then we check in to bally's to let the actual vacation begin!

i've been thinking about bringing a few of these but was curious if
    a) tsa would confiscate them (and keep the bottles for themselves!)
    b) if i will get in trouble on the plane. i don't like being yelled at

since i'm flying alone this time, i wouldn't want to have that many anyway. i don't like getting inebriated without my guardian (aka, my fiance) to watch over me . plus i will feel a little abashed if i am drunk when my dad picks me up from the airport. :goofy:

A: What if they do? You're out $2-3 dollars for 2-3 bottles and have to pay $5 on the plane for a drink.
B: Be discrete. Your fellow passengers aren't going to turn you in.
Your flying from the east coast, so what, about 5 hr flight? 2 or 3 in that time is not going to get you drunk.:drunk:

Right on, right on. TSA won't care as long as you are following their liquid rules. The flight attendants probably won't care either if you are discreet. Of course, if you are already intoxicated, or become intoxicated, both of those can change quickly....

haha, um no. 2-3 will not get me drunk, even if it was just an hour flight :drunk:. i actually have my flight broken up by a layover. my total travel time is around 7.5 hours (not counting my bus travel time to get to the airport).

    thanks for the tips!

As long as you follow the liquid rule (3oz bottles or less, in a 1qt ziplock bag) you'll have no problem. In March me and 3 friends went through security with 25 mini bottles between us and no one said a thing. Once we made it though, we went and bought 20oz Cokes, made our drinks, and brought them on the plane. We even opened a few up on the plane and did shots in the open and not a word was said. Worrying over this issue is just a waste of time.

Good idea! I might try this out, although I'll be at the microbrewery at the airport for a few hours before, so I don't know if I'll need them or not :evillaugh
