Jetsetter.com has a Mystery Monday promotion just unveiled. Like Priceline and Hotwire, they won't tell you the name of the hotel now (and in this case, not until 2 days after the deal ends). Here are the hints:
    • A $20 resort fee per night will be collected upon check out at the hotel
    • Your Las Vegas mystery hotel has a 4.5-star rating on Expedia
    • Non-gaming hotel with nary a slot machine in sight
    • plays host to one of the city’s hottest celeb chef-helmed restaurants, a sexy pool scene and an over-the-top spa
    • Guest rooms are 500 sq ft

I had hoped when it first came out that it was Vdara, but I think it's now... SPOILER!

Palms Place. LVA says Palms Place has that resort fee, it has that rating on Expedia (Vdara has a 4.5 review rating), and it hosts Simon.

FYI, for the dates I was looking, rooms were $60/night through this deal; that's about $25 less per night than what Palms Place is offering on its website.

I don't think it sounds like the (now gone) Boardwalk. I stayed there twice back in the day. It had a casino (though small) that I enjoyed. And I never paid a resort fee.

In addition to Vdara, I think it might also be the Trump, which has no casino but does have a resort fee.

    Palms Place.

Vdara doesn't have a celebrity chef or a sexy pool scene. Plus the resort fee is more than $20.

The first place that came to mind was the Four Seasons, though it is attached to Mandalay Bay, and it's rated five stars on Expedia. Plus, $60 per night at FS probably ain't happening.

    I'll go with Palms Place.

    Alexis Park is my guess.

Palms Place looks right, but a couple of things seem off.

(all based on Palms Place web site)
500 square feet vs 600 for the Studio Suite
Check out at noon vs 11am

Wifi, resort fee, and almost all the other features are bang-on though.

One clue not mentioned here: DUAL TVs in the suite.

Just based on Expedia star ratings, I had it narrowed down to Palms Place, MGM Signature Suites or the Elara Hilton Property.

Palms Place is the only one with dual TVs in the main room, plus an additional TV in the bathroom. My guess is Palms Place.

Whoever wrote the description for the mystery hotel was a bit lazy. In addition to the mystery flash sale, Jetsetter is currently hosting a sale on rooms at Palms Place. Looks like they just copied and pasted the info from one page to another. Check out the similarities:

Description of the mystery hotel: "These suites and penthouses rock hardwood and marble floors, dual 42-inch plasma TVs, huge bathrooms with whirlpool tubs and fantastic views of the Strip and mountains out of nine-foot floor-to-ceiling windows… they’re slick, modern and just flashy enough."

Description on the Jetsetter Palms Place sale page: "...guests here have easy access as well as an easy escape. Large guestrooms with hardwood and marble floors, dual 42-inch plasma TVs, fantastic views of the Strip… it’s slick, modern and just flashy enough."

The Trump's pool is small and there's only a small bar in the lobby. Like the 4 Seasons, I don't think you're getting a Trump suite for $60.

It was the Palms Place! I got a Studio Suite for $65 a night instead of $159! Woo!
