    My Trip Report

OK what the hell, I am pretty damn bored after grilling up some T-Bones and King crab for the fam on an unseasonably nice day in Chicago, so why not begin waxing poetic about what is shaping up to be an EPIC April trip a little early in a proper place of its own.

I'll be back soon to lay out "the best laid plans" and discuss the upcoming debauchery and potential shenanigans!

Of course any pre-trip advice is welcome and greatly appreciated as this board and its members have been a resource of untold value in trip planning!

    ... and so it begins!:nworthy::nworthy:

A combination of too many people in a room, too much alcohol:vomit:, and I am the only one bringing my wife.:rolleyes2: Walking along the strip and through the casino’s yelling HOOKERS and BLOW while using blurry vision to find those elusive winning numbers on Roulette.

Sleeping for a few hours, slamming down food to fill the void between booze and the occasional bottle of water and excusing yourself to visit the porcelain god to make more room in the belly:vomit:. Sending text messages that make absolutely no sense yet for some reason the message still gets across.

Chasing that one last win that you think you deserve and then when you don’t get it you just bet more money:grrr:. Screaming every time you get a 4 to the Royal only to be disappointed once again but make sure that everyone in your group knows about the quads you just hit. Walking into the high limit lounge to check on something only to win $10K in 3 hands or going to bed at 5 am and telling your buddy good luck on that Royal as his next hand hits the ROYAL!:banana:

Asking HEY as anyone seen my wife? Only to find out that she is unconscious outside of the Encore entrance, passed out in the room, or working with the porn slappers handing out the Man’s deck of cards. Lying around the Encore topless pool with your wife as she leans over and says “What you think of those†as she points across the pool to a younger specimen of perkiness only to respond “WHAT do you think of those… hint hint nudge nudgeâ€!:wink2::wink2::wink2:

Epic may be underestimating the trip, so hold on to shorts, check for hourly updates and pics, pre-purchase that new liver, and call the bail bondsman as this trip will be MONOLITHIC!

Ok so the current plan recently updated is to use some of the winning from past trips to get this into large bankroll status and attempt to hit BIG....if the hit doesn't come, oh well, at least some future RFB's should be earned as a side-effect.

    Here are the particulars:

$5,000 per day bankroll, wired to Wynn this time as a $15,000 xfer, with $1,000 in cash for incidentals. 3 night trip---Thurs Apr 15th-Sun Apr 18th. Flying in via SWA from MDW with my

Plan to use $1,000 per day for carny games/bets, $4,000 for basic strategy blackjack in the $125-$275 bet/hand area.

The offers are dwindling due to low play, but hopefully with a fat bankroll after that $7,343 net win last trip, this trip will entail play large enough to win BIG money and BIG comps. Here are the scrounge offers being used this trip:

#1 Palazzo---Standard 4 night comp (4.15-4.19), luckily including weekend. this is where Ed Lover and I will be staying in Bella Suite.

#2 Encore---Dice Invitational offer, 2 night comp (4.16-4.18), free entry into 125-player $250,000 prize pool tourney. Ed's bro, Matt Lover, will take up residence here. And a damn nice mailer to boot:

#3 Treasure Island---3 nights comp (4.15-4.18), $100 freeplay. This room will go to Big Dog and Eddie.

#4 Bellagio---3 nights comp (4.15-4.18), $200 food comp. This room will go to Borat and this other neighbor of ours from NE who lives near Borat in PHX now. Ed Lover and I will be pounding that $200 comp out on Thursday night at FIX at Bellagio as one of our first stops of the trip.

The tentative itinerary includes arrival on Thurs Apr 15 around 4:30ish, limo to Palazzo, check-in, then quick check-in at TI and hit a royal with my freeplay, then a tour of the diamond lounges and other secret VIP cocktail areas, then over to Bellagio for check-in and dinner at FIX. Plan to meet up with Jason after that if he is in town and blow $500 each on MS Stud at Ballys or Flamingo and $2 VP at Casino Royale. Then onto the nights main session, $4,000 of $125-$275 blackjack at Palazzo.

Friday's plan is to hit the pool until those fair-weather weekender's arrive, then check-in at Encore and set up Matt Lover in his room, register for the Dice Invitational, probably grab dinner at the Grand Lux, meet up with the late arrivals, and head out on the town for the same plan as Thurs night.

Saturday will start at the pool, move onto the actual play of the Dice Invitational, followed by me blowing the entire $100K first place prize of promo chips on hookers and blow, ahem, I mean girl scout cookies and other charitable donations. Once I'm out of the shower (huh? what shower?) plan to dry off, kick out the strippers, and head to Botero for dinner. The same $5K gambling plan is next.

Sunday, rue the fact I didn't include more days on the trip and stop at the cage to wire back 6-figures+ to the Vegas Fund!!!!

ok that's all I got so far! I am ready to go RIGHT F'N NOW!!!!

If you get a good streak of $250 bets in at BJ for a while, they will definitely RFB you to the H&B suite. Bet a little higher and they may even provide the h and b.

    Not Sure About Live Streaming...

but there is a pretty good chance of this escapade ending up with some kind of coverage!!

We were in Vegas at the same time as BeeeJay last time...if that happens again, I will try to find him and at least say thank you for these great trip reports. It seems like a good bet that will happen, since he makes frequent trips!!

This trip might regenerate those comps that were on the verge of heading into a downward spiral...the replenished bankroll with the last set of wins will be a huge help!!

The money deal is great--I love having "front money" as opposed to "casino credit"...taking out markers as needed and using the casino as a bank instead of worrying about ATM limits, etc. I screwed up one time on the ATMs and had to wait until the day changed to get more of my gambling bankroll. That will not happen again!!

Anxious for this trip to begin...

    BeeeJay -

I'm a total Vegas rookie, and newbie to the board, but I have full confidence saying your TRs are EPIC. Seriously, man, it's like I'm there when I'm reading them. They're a little Hunter S. Thompson-esque, and I love it that way!

Keep 'em coming, man... wish I was down there when you'll be there, so I could meet you. I'll be there a weekend too early.

    :D

Sounds like the trip is coming together nicely, have you sent the notice to the hookers to update their immunizations?

The groom to be and I had a nice little warm up trip around the city on Friday night, ended up waking up the next day and finding uncashed casino chips in my pocket. All in all good training for our trip in three weeks.

Beeejay, I will be in Vegas 12th- 16th, I'll make sure on the craps tables at Encore to roll nothing but points and inside numbers, that way the dice gods will want, and I mean have too roll nothing but carnie numbers that you can parlay to the moon.
Hope to catch you at the tables and good luck with the 6 figure wire back home. Garry

    Yo BeeeJay!

I'm at the Bellagio April 15 -17th RFB. Been readin your reports for a while now man and I'm hoping I get the chance to meet up and have a Hookers and Blow shouting contest.

I'm sure I'll be able to find you and your crew by the cries for help or wailing police sirens. Just remember that an unoccupied police vehicle means free ride.

    Hope to see ya,

    J

well since the little guy fell asleep at 5 and just woke up and came in my room to give me a "DA! DA! DA!" while pounding me with what appears to be an arm off an American Girl doll, I decided I may as well download some new songs and burn a Vegas CD for this trip....here are the selections (yes some are pretty gay, my taste runs the gammut but can best be described as "poor", but hey at least I didn't put any of that Wynn CD shit on this one!)---

#1 Las Vegas is a Dynamite Place to Be
#2 Ain't That a Kick in The Head
#3 The Best is Yet to Come
#4 Luck Be a Lady Tonight
    #5 I Gotta Feeling
    #6 Midimafia: Phamous
    #7 Live Your Life
    #8 Yeah!
    #9 A Little Less Conversation
    #10 Hotel Room Service
#11 I'm In Las Vegas Bitch
    #12 Big Chips
    #13 Joker and The Thief
    #14 Poker Face
    #15 Can't Tell Me Nothing
    #16 Blame It
#17 One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer
    #18 What Do You Say?
    #19 Waking Up In Vegas
    #20 Stu's Song
    #21 Three Best Friends
    #22 Kernkraft 400
    #23 Right Round

Seems like I'm missing some very important song while I could definitely lose some of those "fillers"...hmm...not coming to me right now.

In other Vegas news at the BeeeJay residence, my old "Vegas Shrine" has outgrown the shelf in the back of the basement where my wife lets me keep it and has now gained a spot where the old XBox 360 used to be before it met with the "red ring of death":

I also finished up a 2,000 piece Las Vegas Strip puzzle at 5am last night. As you can see in the below pictures, much to my chagrin it turned out to be a 1,999 piece puzzle :cry:, so I guess that hour of sleep wasn't the only damn thing I lost last night!!!

Some say I must be missing a piece to complete that big a puzzle, but I actually used it to occupy the kids the weekend before my last trip, while the wife was on her girls trip and I had all 3 flu-ridden in-greats. I'm sure one of them ate that missing piece!:nono:

that Luxor tower was the worst part, it is all BLACK pieces!!!:grrr:

you wanna talk about a classy way to spend a Saturday night, I watched the SAME show twice on the history channel in the 8 hrs it took me to finish that damn Luxor, I had to try every remaining piece when all i had left was the blacks.

On the positive side I did learn (twice) that in 1300's China the Emperor who founded Beijing was very angry when his Concubines were caught cavorting with the Unics----if that isn't a kick in the NUTS I don't know what is!! :evillaugh

and yeah I polished off what was left of a bottle of Goose while I was at it. :drunk: So I got that goin' for me, along with total consciousness on my death bed, which is nice.

Cinderella story, outta nowhere, former dillweed Chicago dad, about to become World Series of Carny Games Champion.....tears in his eyes I guess....the crowd quiets.....as he lines up this final bet.....THERE IT IS!!!! $50 hi-lo at the Flamingo Craps Table!

sounds like a great trip, bachelor parties are always the best. I need that bachelor thing to force me from the tables to the strip clubs aka hookers and blow establishments. I always enjoy it when I go, but its hard to drag myself away from one sin to the next sin in Sin City!

btw, some may notice my fancy poster frame on that Vegas puzzle I did. What a bitch it was to find a frame to fit a 38 by 26 puzzle, most are 36 by 24. but I did finally find a 40 by 28 at some hobby store and my wife was proud to make me use a 40% off coupon. I told her its nice to have it laminated because when i am living in a cardboard box on the streets I'll be able to use that waterproof piece as my roof to keep out the rain.:evillaugh
