We did an unplanned trip to Vegas for my birthday. Had a great time as usual, just partied and gambled. Some quick notes: Plaza Had a $3 BJ table Viva Las Vegas closed last week Rat Pack Dinner show had long lines both nights The new lounge show was pretty good The Race & Sports book is going to be run by an outside company as of Aug. 1st Tried Lombardi's Italian Kitchen, just OK Tim, our adopted bartender now works the Omaha Lounge from 10 am to 6 pm. He said to stop by and say Hello The light show was packed, both nights Paul Utell is now a full time Casino Host. He loves his new job. I’ve got his new cell number for any of us that need it I was pretty lucky the whole trip. Nothing spectacular but came home about $200+. Any questions?
I can't think of a better way to spend a birthday. Glad you made a little extra ching. It helps pay for the gas.
Sorry, to hear the Viva las Vegas closed. I was looking forward to seeing that magician with her glove act again.
I think those short, unplanned trips are the best. Thanks for the update on Plaza. I skipped them my last few trips. Sorry to hear Viva Las Vegas closed.
Actually it is more than that. I have been going there for a long time. BTW, Buds and Coronas are $2 at the Plaza, all day, all night.
Vegas Club used to have that $2 Corona too--I'd pick up a couple then head next door to Binions for ham & beans at the snack bar Don--glad you had a nice trip for your birthday
