    My Trip Report

    Day 4: Wednesday June 20

Since I had gone to bed at 9am I was awake at 5:30 feeling great. I guess it was just sleep depravation that had gotten me down!! Thank goodness, I had visions of our wedding trip when I actually could not lift my head off the pillow I was so ill with a fever.
We got up and showered then headed downstairs to gamble and grab a latte at Palio, though they are not quite as good as the lattes at Wynn they were very good. After the latte we played at little VP, Blackjack and Roulette not winning at anything really. Around 9am FIL called and hubby went to pick him up at Flamingo and brought him back to Bellagio for breakfast. I had eggs, hubby had French toast and FIL had pancakes. Everyone was happy with their meals. About this time my best friend called. She was headed to Bellagio to meet up with me for the day. We haven’t seen each other in 2 years and have been friends since 1st grade. I thought this would be a wonderful day and for the most part it was. We gambled a bit, or should I say I gambled a bit……..she wouldn’t even have a drink. Now some may think a lot of people don’t drink but trust me she does, as I have had quite a few drunk dials from her and given them right back LOL We sat at Fontana where she couldn’t quite grasp the idea of VP, I then showed her my room and we went down to the pool bar so she could see the pool. Again, no drinks!! We then headed back to the casino and played for a little while, then Dale called and said he was back at the hotel after being out gambling with his dad. He had won playing the “dark side†on the craps table. He did play at an empty table as he didn’t want to upset anyone. After meeting up with hubby we went over to Bally’s as BF needed to run some money through a machine with her card (don’t ask me why!!!). After Bally’s we went back to the hotel where we played a little move VP (read I played VP and she watched) then I had to go to the room to shower and get ready for dinner. She came up with me and we watched a fountain show and chatted she then went downstairs to wait for me. Her husband was picking her up from the Bellagio and I had to meet up with members from Dale’s club for dinner. Dale took a quick trip over to Flamingo to make sure FIL ate while BF and I headed over to Fontana, about this time I got a phone call, there was a meet taking place and I wasn’t able to make it because of our dinner plans which we didn’t have set until Wednesday morning and at that point we thought it was going to be 7 and I could have still made the meet, but over the course of the day the reservations went from Michael Mina’s at 7 to meeting at the Petrossian Bar and then Circo. Anyway, BF’s hubby called while I was on the phone with the meet people to tell BF he was pulling into Bellagio so after a quick good-bye I was left on my own. It was sad to see her go and I wish the day had gone better but it is what it is…..I gamble and she doesn’t…….
After getting off the phone I went to Fontana and had Diane make me a Pomegranate Lemondrop Martini which was quite yummy. I played a few minutes and then headed to the bar to meet up with hubby and the members. At the bar I had a Cantaloupe Martini which was a bit odd while the others had their cocktails. We had time for one drink and then headed to Circo. I have always wanted to dine here so I was excited at the prospect. We got there and we were asked to wait at the bar for a few minutes so I ordered a Grey Goose Orange Cosmo which was yummy. After a little while we were brought to the table. I really liked the dining room, it is so bright and colorful and has a great view of the fountains. Unfortunately you could not hear the music though, but other than that I enjoyed the room. I ordered the soup of the day which was a tomato bread soup while the rest had shrimp cocktail. For dinner I had the hand rolled spaghetti with a Bolognese sauce which I thought was good but not wonderful. In fact I was disappointed. Everyone else had some kind of chicken. We talked for what seemed like hours and our hosts asked if we would like to go down to Prime and have coffee and dessert on the patio…….We of course went and what an experience it was. Truly there isn’t a better spot to watch the fountains it was spectacular. I had a latte but no dessert. We ended up leaving Prime at about 11 and walked the members back towards the spa tower where they were staying. We then decided to play for a little while. I played some VP and got a bit of play out of my money but never hit anything. I would get 4 to a Royal but never get the Royal and the 4oaks were few and far between. It was fun though and cocktail service was excellent. I did also go to the Fontana for a bit but only had the Fiji Water and one Grey Goose and Tonic.
All in all it was a good day, and went by much too quickly. I enjoyed the company I was with both during the day and in the evening. It was another perfect Vegas day. I just didn’t want it to end……….

LVLady, I am enjoying each and every word of your report(s). Did you ask your BF if there might be a baby in her future; could be why she wasn't drinking. Were you playing the "magic" VP machine at the Fontana Bar? Looking forward to the remainder of your TR.

I don't think she is pregnant, I think she has her hands full with the three she has, but you never know..........Something tells me if that were the case though she would have told me. And yes, I tried the magic machine again and again and again.....Didn't have much luck on it at the start....Heck it barely got me a free drink LOL

But it did get you a drink, unlike your experience at Wynn!
