Long shot, but had to ask...does anyone have a timeline of what will be closing when for renovations at Monte Carlo? I've searched online, but only come up with articles about the slow switch to Park MGM. Seems they've been only trickling information out as to what restaurants and stores will close between now and next year.

I'd like to avoid having to call the front desk if I can get the information here; however, I realize I may be stuck calling them soon and if so I'll be sure to add what they say for anyone else that may be looking.

Thanks for the quick reply. Somehow missed that one (google brings up nothing period that I could see). Was worried I'd have to change hotels for December, but seems the main stuff we wanted to get out of the hotel isn't closing and it shouldn't be much of a hassle. Luckily the pool would've been closed anyway...being December and all. Will be the girlfriend's first trip and given my enthusiasm for Vegas I want her to enjoy the stay even if there is construction in the main lobby. I've already told her that most of our time will be spent at casinos further down the strip and MC will mostly be for sleep.

fyi - a search on this board with the word MONTE should have found it.

Glad your "place" will be open.

was kind of bummed to see all the closures at monte carlo but got 3 nights in October for 250$ all including resort fees so I figure Ill just use it as a place to crash and do all my eating/gambling elsewhere.

I'll be arriving just a couple days after you, so I'm interested as well.
You can bet that Sambalatte, 800° Pizza, and everything in the BLVD Plaza will remain open and untouched. They're fairly new.
Would love to see something done with Diablo's. Maybe a remodel of the food court area; it's old and dingy. Get rid of the Street of Dreams shops; except for Starbucks, and the only cold free drinking fountain on the strip right next to it!!

I'd take the short walk down to Cosmo and get the ones at Holsteins instead!

Holsteins is worth it for the burger anyway. Add it to the itinerary if you have space.

rumor has it, that when Brand closes it will replace Diablos. Anyone heard more on this, I got it from an employee.

Is Brand going to close before the end of January? I was hoping to make that my go-to, in-house spot on my trip :(

Confusing ..... if Brand is closed, how can it replace anything? Closed is closed.

I was in Vegas this weekend.

They weren't kidding when they said they're redoing the pool area.

I'll be a the MC on Monday and will give a detailed update. I did hear the Street of Dreams has totally closed. I'm curious if the walk through to the Aria is still open. I did find out that MC guests have access to the MGM Grand pool complex which is nice...

@Vegasworm posted a photo towards the end of her last TR of the closed Street of Dreams shops and the walkway to the tram.

Thanks in advance for the update. I got a great rate on a strip view room in January that I don't want to give up, but if Brand is closed that will be a deal breaker for me. At first I didn't think they were closing at all, but now I'm not sure. As long as the tram to Aria, casinio floor, and Brand stay open, I'm good :)

The walkway is still open as of last Thursday. Every store in the Street of Dreams is closed.
